I kept getting nervous that you were going to spill the paint from the paint cup onto the model. Is there a specific reason that you don’t paint with the cap on the cup?
Hello! I wonder what exactly are those templates from... I took a look on Amazon and "special polymer-coated material" doesn't really give me a clue. Is it some kind of cardboard, plywood or something like that?
I've done three planes with black basing. It would work with armor very well I think. That would mean you wouldn't need the white. My guess is that a good hand with a brush could get a superior finish to modulation painting. It might take a little longer. The real trick is not to over-do the blending coat. BTW: I can't use lacquer paints - like Mr. Hobby or MPR - but still got excellent results with Golden High Flow acrylics - they "paint small" very nicely - and it isn't a killer if there's a little splatter or something.
Have ordered the stencils. Shall give it a try.
Another really interesting and thought provoking video.
That might work for mottling Luftwaffe schemes. Good show Will. I think you're right that it would be useful for black basing.
That looks awesome.I got to give this a try.

I know theres a black and white method for armor, but could this method maybe work on armor?
