    I love when you give audible updates at the start of the video!! Noah’s POV vlog style is so relaxing…like FaceTiming an old friend. I hope you find time to rest and rejuvenate. Never feel bad for decompressing in your own ways. Another lovely video.

    a little advice on the ground beef situation lol. always cook the amount you'll eat in that setting, the moment you cook something especially meat , it has a shelf life of one week in your fridge. raw meats obviously have a longer shelf life if they are either in the freezer or covered in the fridge. I would say wrap up the meat that you won't eat in aluminum foil or a container to put into your freezer and it'll last longer!

  • @makailaann03
    @makailaann03 8 місяців тому +5

    I usually portion out the raw meat into sandwich bags and pop the bags in the freezer and pull one out to put in the fridge the day before I want to eat it so it can thaw out. If you're eating it the next day, you can wrap it up and put it in the fridge. It just keeps better in the freezer especially if you know you won't use it for a while. You can also freeze cooked meat the same way I explained freezing the raw meat if you don't have much time to cook and you want to be able to heat it up faster.
    I hope this helps! 🙂

    for ground turkey u can definitely cook it all and save the rest for later in the fridge. it’s actually the perfect thing to have sitting in the fridge as leftovers cause u can add it to other things (as long as u eat it within a few days of cooking it)

    To answer your cooking question, i either put the other part of the minced meat in a ziped locked bag and leave it in the freezer or fridge, just remember to write the expiry date on it! lovely video, so calm and clean

    for the ground turkey question. i split into how much i’m gonna eat and then put the uncooked portion in tubber ware and put it in the fridge until the next day. you can also freeze it but that’s for storing it much longer than just 12 hours or so. hope this helps nosh. love the video

    About the ground meat, it is best to cook it all at once. I find when you do that and if you add spices etc to it the next day it tastes better.

    Personally, I'd cook it all and let the left overs cool down to room temp, then put it in the fridge and heat it up in the microwave when you're ready to eat it next (make sure its heated fully). Also, I wash rice before cooking it (till the water runs clear). If you want it a bit sticky then rinse it through once or twice. Btw instead of measuring the water a little trick is say the tip of your finger touches the top of the rice, the water needs to be to the first joint of your finger, over time you'll know what it looks like and can just eye ball it

    always freeze open packages of meat. fluctuating temps can cause certain bacteria to produce especially once it’s been opened.

  • @jamiemccarthy8121

    So for the ground turkey you can cook all of it and put the leftover ground turkey in a sealed container for a week so if you cooked it Monday you can keep it in your fridge till the next Monday and saves time from cooking the other half! If you realize you won't eat it by the next Monday you could always freeze it and write ground turkey and the date on it for another time.

  • @estefanifigueredo1853
    @estefanifigueredo1853 8 місяців тому

    For the ground turkey question you CAN do either but if you don’t want to cook it (bc it’ll have a shorter lifespan before it goes bad) just store it away:
    If you’re gonna eat it within a couple days just keep it in the fridge but in a zip lock to not contaminate other food ( you can put the whole container in zip lock or just the meat)
    If you’re not gonna eat it within a few days then put the meat in a zip lock and freeze it… it lasts for months haha

    Hi Noah, it's not a problem if you don't cook all the meat because you can leave in the fridge the other part (covered with a plastic film) but only if you are going to cook it the next day. Otherwise, if you'll use the remain meat in the next days I suggest you to put it (covered of course) in the refrigerator.
