OMG! I found exactly what I need. Today I was very curious of why I could not record my zoom meetings at a higher resoultion and started to search for a solution. Came across this super super clear video of yours, really I can not thank you enough. Just contacted the support and so excited to see how the process will go. Heartfelt, infinite thank yous to you. Really appreciate it. May all your light return to you even more abundantly. Infinite love&gratitude :)🙏
Thank You. I just got 720p activated in my Zoom pro. Zoom was also really quick to respond. I had been trying to get higher resolution for so long! Your video has been of great help. thanks once again.
Thanks for the comment Mark! I've just published another a video showing what to do if you have the highest quality but it drops: ua-cam.com/video/xw9rIOwLsvU/v-deo.html
Felipe: Llevo años pesquisando cosas tecnicas no UA-cam y pocas vezes encontramos personas que EXPLICAN EN DETALLES las cosas que QUEREMOS entender como funcionan!!! Tu lo logaste!!! GRACIAS!
And i leterally just got a reply from Zoom saying it`s been submitted and they`lkl contact me when it`s activated! That was quick! Like... 20mins quick. Just FYI for anyone thinking about doing it. (y)
So at the beginning you say your resolution will bump up to 720p if an attendee watches you on full screen. And then at the end after enabling HD in front- and back-end, and probably spending money, the last step is to make sure an attendee is watching you in full screen. Sounds like steps 1 and 2 aren't necessary, nor is spending extra money.
Exactly, this feature will only appear on the premium. But even paying the Pro plan isn't enough, you have to contact Zoom support to really enable it.
great vid! just wondering... what's the point of "group hd video" toggle in the settings if we need to contact zoom support to really enable it anyway? 🙄
Before pandemic this setting would activate 720p, but Zoom has put a second toggle (that only they can control) to limit the number of people using this quality because their structure wouldn't hold everyone having it. So far you still need to contact them to have it activated.
Group HD video - Activate higher quality video for host and participants... I just went in my Zoom account only to find out that as of early 2022 Zoom ONLY allows it for specific cases of large groups, nothing else. HOWEVER, there is a workaround: in the Zoom app, cancel the vid in the lower left area, turn on screen sharing... and big difference. Try it.
The downside with screen sharing is that the FPS will be reduced. For some cases it is not a problem! Where did you see this limitation for 720p? I have been able to successfully activate multiple zoom accounts with 720p lately
@@SeGdb Nothing changes in the tutorial. You still have to reach out for Zoom to enable 720p. As for 1080p, this is much harder-but this already implies you are paying $2k per year to have a business account, so this is not everyone's first option
@@FelippeNardi yes so true, not everyone has $2K pocket change - so my workaround is to use OBS with Zoom and I am surprised at the results. Thank you for your time.
Felippe - thanks so much for a great video. QUESTION - even after we did this, our host statistics for SEND were 640 x380 and the recieve statistics were 1280 x 720. Is there a way to bump up the SEND resolution? Thank you!
Someone could have you pinned on another computer and on full-screen, this would work too. The rule is: Zoom will only send a high quality if there is someone requiring it AND you have unlocked it with the Zoom support
@@FelippeNardi Wow @FelippeNardi -- that was quick! I learned (from Zoom Chat) that I needed to go to the {"Account Management" Account Setting to flip the button. I think they renamed the "Group HD" to "Meeting-HD Video Quality" now.

@@channelingkris Using OBS with Zoom certainly raises up the production! It is just not a work around to have 1080p, or did I understand wrong?
How to decrease it when you participating in a meeting and your data goes fast because you receive it at a high rate?
It will automatically adjust down if your internet is not fast enough

Talking to Zoom support is the *ONLY* way you can get this to work, and you have to tell exactly what I say here for them to active it
