Yeah I intended to keep it around for longer but I'd done about everything I could with it, I was looking into putting it on a set of tracks but I couldn't justify the cost for what's essentially a gag. I'm the type of person who enjoys the build more than the finished product, but it's been good to me.
The paint looks like shit all pretty much covered in orange peal but i love it, great work, makes me want to get the same car so i can paint it the same lol
The transmission really never gets better, but the little tykes treatment makes the car just that little bit more whimsical and it makes people smile, I'd recommend it!

Currently have a 2008 Passion. Love everything but the color. You've inspired me. What I want to know/see is how you got the panels off. I'm a visual learner and I can't find any exploded diagrams or videos on how to remove them.
Thanks! To take the panels off it's a lot of torx bolts and plastic fasteners. Each panel is a bit different so your best bet is to start taking out every bolt you see and pulling.
I think the door panels are the weirdest ones, I think I was able to find a UA-cam or forum tutorial about them as the plastic outer skin comes off, they're weirdly assembled little cars, good luck!

Would recommend, paint definitely looks bad but everyone who's seen the car in person loves it haha
I have an '08 that I've considered doing the Little Tykes treatment on. The transmission bothers me, other than that I dig the car.
