Love the music with these clips. Great video man. Can you explain what decontamination method you used here? It appeared alot faster than your regular clar baring!? How was the paint thickness on the smart? Does it have a good layer of clear coat?
Thank you 🙌 I used a clay mitt instead of a clay bar . It is faster in some instances but no as effective in other situations where there is heavy iron contamination. You can’t really measure paint thickness on a smart due to most of its surface area is plastic. Like every painted plastic surface treat it with caution.
I m glad you enjoyed it ! No it was a two step correction. Paint being on the soft side no extreme compounding was necessary but still refinement was needed
I am amazed at how spectacular the Smart Car turned out. My Smart car is Red and trimmed in black. The color is molded into the plastic on most colors and then it is sprayed with clear coat. I used to work at a body shop and with my Smart parked outside it ended up with the front end speckled with clear coat from overspray from the paint booth. I tried using a clay bar but you can still see the overspray in the sunlight. I can't really use rubbing compound or polishing compound because there are graphics on the car. You did many steps to bring the car back to life. What type of products did you use?
Thank you ! This is pretty much e everything used in this video. Interior : Koch chemie Mzr for seats and carpet Koch chemie Po (Polestar) for plastic trims etc Exterior : -Koch chemie Aw ( regular car soap ) -Koch chemie Fb for the wheels Polishing : -Rupes lhr 15 mark3 -Spta mini polisher - Shinemate EX603 Compound stage : -Koch chemie H6 - Carpro Essence refining Sealant: Koch chemie S0.02
It's F6 it was a typo sorry 😅. Polestar is for leather and Alcantara as koch states but in my experience you can use it pretty much everywhere in the interior, it's rather gentle with 7.0 ph value I usually use it diluted 1-3 or 1-5 you can mess up interior trims pretty quickly with harsh chemicals.
@@maxvisionautodetailing you should try "Green Star BMP", its mildly alkaline (9,5) and the way to go. or if u want to be on the PH neutral side, get your hands on "REFLECTED The INTERIOR Purge" from germany. that will put anything else to shame.
Great stuff where can I get some of the appliances and everything that you guys use on your smart car I have a black smart car and I want to use the same stuff could that be possible please email me your answer thank you.

Nice. I'm going to do this soon on my Smart. Did you not use compound here and go straight to polish?

@@maxvisionautodetailing hi from germany. we have no H6 here. so is it H9 or F6? and polestar is for fabrics and not for trims!

Are you treating cleaning a car made of plastic differently than a metal one?
Same process just need a bit more caution with heat on plastic panels.
Very nice but nobody shows how to clean the fabric part in the inside, at the dashboard =/ Still searching for a guide.
Just wipe it down with a wet cloth with a little bit of all purpose cleaner
@@maxvisionautodetailing thank you
No problem 😉
😍😍

Raw black plastic parts can be a pain to restore. My suggestion would be cover them with PPF (Paint protection film) to restore gloss
