Just started myself after watching game changer I'm about two weeks in and feeling better for it .it could be a placebo effect but at 53 I'll try anything to improve my riding / stamina .
I've been plant based for four days after watching game changers. Had a great ride at cannock chase today . Just gotta see how I get on with the new diet . Good look with it 😁👍🏻
Never seen Game Changer Jim but does give plenty to think about. New setup on the Bike seems superb! More to think about for me maybe...
Looking super trick, especially with the matching Enve stickers. The new frame would look great in blue and yellow for a Husaberg style or even some white thrown in for Husqvarna! I’m satisfied my air Lyriks and Super Deluxe, but would love a full coil setup like this or the push shock and fork internals that Titley is running as I’m on a Carbine to.
Shots fired at fellow UA-camrs, brilliant.
Jim, Fidlock make a 450ml bottle which has a slightly shorter base when compared to the bigger bottle. It stops the shock clearance issue, only downside is it being a smaller bottle.
I've got the same fork on my Kingdom Vendetta HT...I too, am very impressed...the fork never fails, you never think "oh shit, the fork didn't cope with this or that!?"
We'll soon see in Spain next week!!
I saw you at hopten last Wednesday 😱👍👍
I think I need coil too, cus the pressure changes are getting tiresom, also if I don't it means harsh bottom out only got 120mm travel, but I am going up for next build.
First love the content boys. Keep it up 🤘🏼
I have the rxf36 ohlins forks on my stumpjumper. Awesome forks cannot fault them
Epic ain’t they
Great review mate. You should get yourself a Specialized Levo SL lightest ebike on the market to go with that amazing set up!
Tried!!
UA-cams still cocked up the quality, I cant wait any longer for my pinned fix!!
How are the forks compared to lyriks....I have the ttx22 coil, ace coil, looking at the forks now cheers
9:37 where is the lens wipers?, would be nice right?
Been plant based as much as I can (more vegi than vegan at the minute) since watching Game Changers 2 weeks ago. I don’t crash as hard at the end of a good days riding and I’m pretty fresh in the mornings to! Also I’ve noticed my asthma takes longer to kick in. Kinda miffed that the wife made a spagbol but it would of been rude not to! Öhlins suspension in my opinion is the best on the market and I dare say there are many pro riders who would dig into their own pockets for it.
I was going to ask what you thought of the fid lock bottle set up but you answered it! I've just got one to use for shorter rides or events where you can re fill quite easily but if find even in a minor off it pops off .... have you had this (pre new coil shock)
Yeh, it was fine then
As long as no shock parts are pushing against your fid lock bottle you shouldn't ever lose one. Maybe try a different brand.
How did you find that bottle holder under the frame?
The only two times I've used a bottle under the frame and I've lost them both- Using a standard plastic bottle holder. Been eyeing up the lock ones so be good to see how you get on with it under the frame
Ask me after Spain!!

Good content Jim, as always, Ohlins stuff looks mint. How do you rate the WTB Verdict/Judge combo, I’ve just bought them and wondered if I’d made a good choice for winter?
Best tyre combo I ever tried! 👌👌👌👌
Pinned TV that’s awesome, cheers Jim.
Maybe consider upgrading your memory card regarding the bad footage? Great suspension review anyhow! 😊
You would have thought that a company could easily design a water bottle head cover? Neoprene or the like just to avoid crap on the spout?
d you use spherical bearings with the shock? I read that's possible with Öhlins.
Not with this no, have used before with Ohlins though. Hard to notice a difference
@@PinnedTV OK, I see Geometron comes with Storia v3 with spherical bearings. Which is a interesting bike, it has features I want that others don't, like replaceable threads, and great external cable routing, but I think Stanton is interesting.
Forks and shock look mint Jim, and you certainly seem hyped on them. Are they that much better than fox 36s?if you weren't sponsored and had to fork out full price for any fork/shock, would you honestly buy them over fox or rockshocks? Interested to hear your answer, I've been wanting ohlins for a long time, but want to know if they're genuinely worth getting rid of my 36s and dpx for.
Hey Carl, sorry missed this comment till now! 🙈
Yes mate I can genuinely say they are game changing bouncers and if I could afford them (bearing in mind we are sponsored!) I would deffo buy over the Fox. Fox are good mind, but they are a tad unreliable in my opinion and the Ohlins coil (now after Spain) just offers so much fantastic diving it's unreal!
@@PinnedTV cheers Jim, that's exactly the kind of honest opinion I was after, also one of the reasons I'm subscribed! I'll start saving then if they really are the bees knees! Thanks for taking the time to reply mate.
If the rear shock is anything like a fox coil, you should be able to rotate the shaft and position the rebound on the bottom of the shock to allow you to adjust it more easily- unless that would cause it to interfere with anything else.
Trying today
@@PinnedTV Hope it works out for you mate. Really enjoying the videos too!
was going to retire from mtb cause of foot pain. packed in fizzy canned drinks and cut down on sugar foot pain better. poss kidney /liver issue i believe. Diet is important as we get older me thinks.
If you are also thirsty and tired a lot go and get tested for Diabetes.
@@markstephenson5867 thanks Mark.
Lmao great impressions 😂
I've been doing the same for 4 weeks no meat fish etc #plantbased it's easy my wife and I started out about 3 months ago doing a plan and it's been incredible, lost 1 1\2stone and I was fit and fairly slim wife lost 3 stone! I had a digestion problem which disappeared. And we both are still loving life not craving shit foods and full of energy. If anyone interested please message. Love what u doing at pinned awesome!
what is that fender you have?
Rapid racer products
First off I love the videos guys, however when you hit the trails the video becomes very pixelated and I can't seem to make anything out. Is this an issue with my phone ?
I had that to Hit the three dots to change quality. I got 720p
It's a UA-cam thing. Nowadays quite often it can take up to an hour for UA-cam to make it HD instead of 420p. Lots of creators are kicking off about it! It will be better later or as Ence says, try change those screen settings.
Thanks guys. Tech isn't my forte 🤣
Just got this setup on a starling murmur 29er, I understand high speed compression and rebound,
but the low speed compression has 16 clicks of adjustment, tough to wrap my head around what exactly it does.
How many clicks are you running LSC for DH?
@jtech suspension set it and I forget it mate. They have vids on their channel all about the settings bud
@@PinnedTV there's 16 points of compression damping for a reason, if you're a set and forget rider, you shouldn't be riding these.
Ok cool, send us your address and we'll fire them over to ya! 🤣🤣thanks for your positive comment mate 🤘
@@PinnedTV No problem. I don't need backups, that's just greedy!
can't you just undo the rear end of the shock and flip the end around so you can get to the rebound easier?
On a lot of bikes yes, but not with this linkage, as the piggy back would hit the linkage
@@PinnedTV can't the one end be flipped without also flipping the other?
Oh yeh, that could work!! 🙈🙈🙈
It worked!
@@PinnedTV awesome ... i'm glad it worked for ya
I can’t afford components that expensive but definitely considering a plant based diet. 👍
Cowspiracy is a Netflix documentary that covers the topic. Bit one-sided maybe but worth a watch.
I've just placed an order for a switch9er FS with Ohlins coil so this vid has me stoked! What spring do you run for your body weight? (PM if you don't want to share that with everyone) haha cheers
Props for cutting down on meat - for your coffee try rice milk, it's really sweet.
411 I think!
@@PinnedTV cheers, but how heavy are you?
Oh yeh! 13 1/2
Looking pasty there Jim.. or is it the pixelation? 🤔 Can't imagine Sonny, never eating 'pink meat' again - Good luck 👍
Sick video!! Only goes up to 360p?
720p Must been watching when video was uploading
Give it an hour, it's UA-cam! 😠
Great hearing about people finally catching onto whole foods, plant based eating. The only thing that's important to not start including on a regular basis is meat substitions/oils/coconut milk. Olive oil is fine in moderation but use it as a flavoring, not doused on as a sauce. My only complaint is trying to gain weight while on it, and can't recommend it enough for those trying to lose some extra pounds. Check out retired NASA scientists book "The Healthspan Solution", there's ~ 90 pages of hard science backing up why plant-based eating makes sense. He also has a podcast with Julieanna Hever called "Science and Saucery".
I could not live without meat
So Jim does that mean you wont be celebrating Vegan day anymore with a sausage and bacon butty?
🤣🤣🤣
I’ll be honest Jim, I watched that game changer film and I still remain very skeptical.
I would be very interested to hear from someone who is not being paid to make a film about plant based diet.
Don’t get me wrong, there is lots of interesting information on the film and I do eat plant based diet most of the time with my family being vegan (apart from me) but I’m just no convinced that the benefits are purely from not eating animal products and not other factors such as the types of sugar you eat, getting the right amount of sleep(also affected by sugar intake) and your training regime.
I hope to hear how this goes for you in the future. Good luck.
Fasting is the ultimate game changer!!! The Bible is no joke and Jesus is coming back!!! Game changer!!!🎤👋
Bloody UA-cam and 360p annoying. The video content made it well worth it though 🙌
What, no bacon? 😳
Bacon sarnies were my favourite too until I went plant based😋honestly
@@chrisb4504
Can you honestly say you don't now love the smell of cooking bacon?
@@Adventures_with_Sog not anymore my friend
Ohlins set up looks cool. Game Changer is good but specialist in the field said it lacked research and evidence. There is specialist doctor that did a response on it. Just find what works for you.....don't believe everything you see on the TV.
Too right!
Id watch the follow up of Game changer, all the athletes are failing now, and a lot of the evidence has been picked apart.
Yeh I know, my veggie days didn't last long!! 🤣
@@PinnedTV he he he fare1, mate you have inspired me to get on my bike, its been on shelf for 6yrs and Im loving being back on it, just watched your "manual" video, my aim in lockdown is to nail it, keep up great work.
Jim mate love the vids but do your research on game changers, it’s very one sided, obviously well created as people are going mad for it. Men’s health did a great debunking article. Seriously plenty of love just don’t let that doc be the only factor in your decision. Peace ✌️
this is extremely boring, those trail do not even have any jump this was the firt and hopefully the last time i did watch to this chanel. you do have baddass equipment but the frame is awfull to me. I do hope you do ride more than this
Hey Philip, is there any chance you would want to ride for us as our seasoned pro? I'm guessing we should have heard of you yeh???
Have a lovely day and keep up the positive work! ❤️❤️❤️
@@PinnedTV Hi man, thanks for your awesome offer, but I am only an ex- DH endruro non-pro racer, right now I did build myself a DH V3 from commencal. But i did not ride a suspension bike for about a year and half. I do know how to ride, how to build trails and how to make good photos, with a help of few friends i could proppably make some nice edit. wed do own a couple steady-cam holders some good lenses and a race ready track. But I do not feel myself to be I such shape that I should be representing or racing some european uci enduro at least not now.I do not have any money to spare. So yeah I would definitely want to be a sponsored pro, but you are about 2 years late for my best Physical condition. Maybe that I push myself back but not without a good enduro bike, money for traveling and food, some casual fitness and sauna for relaxation of those exhausted mussels. I do not see myself profitable for you.
otherwise I have been pushing ski, SNB, till 15 and now it has been 14 years since I started riding downs also on MTB.

If you start banging on about vege diets, I’ll unsubscribe and stop watching. I’m fit n healthy and don’t force my eating habits onto others. I don’t get why vegos feel the need to tell others how to eat. I come here for the riding footage, not diet advice.
I'm not banging on about it and won't mention it again. This channel is about whet I'm doing to do with my riding etc and just thought it was relevant at the time! Sorry if you find that annoying, I've just cut meat out, not gone vegan, fuck that! 🤣
@@PinnedTV Pleased to hear it wont be a recurring theme. My post was prob a bit harsh and blunt, stemming from recent excessive vegan activism over here in Australia. I enjoy your videos and especially the race vlogs. Keep it up mate.
Sonny tried it, his misses is vegan. We worked together building on Saturday and he buckled having full English in the cafe! 🤣🤣🤣 The only mentions now will be him taking the piss out of me in Spain! We leave tomorrow to race over there!
