Who's here in 2024 ?
Me. And forever 👌 // sweden
Always and forever love this video and many more
I am. But also..not. 🤷🏼♀️
Me! Because my favorite radiostation RadioEins in Potsdam still plays this song. 🙂
@henriwiegand Wow, in Nordrhein-Westfalen they rarely play smallish bands like Lo Moon. I have to admit I didn't watch this video since recently despite being a fan from the beginning but this is really artistic. Love everything they do. ❤️
As a 479 year old hardcore Monk chanting lover, this song truly captured me with its beauty.
You know a song is genius when some 55 year-old dude from Darwin, Australia clicks on this band randomly and becomes a convert for life. This is early post rock meets latter post rock, meets shoe gaze, meets romantic wave, meets lo-fi and... produces the most beautiful child there ever was. This is one gem of a song amongst many with this band, and I want more. Long live the Californian revival of atmospheric rock. Perhaps Talk Talk and Peter Gabriel did indeed have a love child..
Maybe check out Bon Iver, Midlake, Sylvan Esso, Broken Bells, there's an awful of fantastic music out right now.
Your description is almost perfect, sir. Extra feels for the call out of Talk Talk. Music can be transcedent.
Peter collaborated with nusrat fateh Ali Khan. I'm from where he was. That would be a new unique genre. They could break musical itself. But as that's not supposed to happen, nusrat sahab died too early. Tysir
@@oldbridgemaker2094 Bon Iver and Broken Bells have been on my radar for a while and I appreciate your suggestions! I'll check out Sylvan and Esso. Cheers mate..
@@missamp2601 Thank you! I've struggled to find anything like Talk Talk before or since - but I can feel them in this track in particular - without it being a rip off.
for me one of the best songs ever written in music history
this is a true statement
You might find some pleasure listening to Talk Talk‘s Spirit of Eden album …
@@ulyssesresurrection Thank You🙂... "I believe in you" is one of my alltime favourite songs. My father used to listen to "spirit of eden" when I was a little boy... it's in my opinion one of the best 80's records😌
@@thomasstock2726 So this door was already open to you. It‘s a good starting point when one‘s parents have a decent musical taste.
true 👍 // sweden
This song is so beautiful. His voice has a touch of Mark Hollis from Talk Talk.
Brilliant song… so much depth and feeling in every word and chord! Rolling drums I can’t get enough of!!
It hits Hard , and soothing , damn good !
I'm a 71-year old hard-core rock fan, and this music is surreally beautiful. Wow!
This is rock and roll at it's finest.
Right behind you at 64. What a great song!
Thx for that comment... I'm 27 and what I learned about life so far: Always keep your mind open! You're doing great!
@@greta3805 I am 56, and song
s like this has always made me think and respect, as i at the same time get chickenskin all over. I cry, I laugh, I learn, i respect. This is a true masterpiece, both aural and visual, one of the top 10 tracks of my whole long life. Even though i am very open minded, I am stunned! I hope my mind will always be open to this kind of beauty.
When I was 71, listened to Talk Talk. Now I'm 101 and listen to Lo Moon.
Lyrics ~
Crosses in the distance bells ring fast
Loveless in our shelter time will pass
Would you take a chance on us?
Could you take a chance on us?
Call out to the lonely with regrets
Loveless is your answer time will pass
Couldn’t take a chance on us
Couldn’t take a chance on us
Take my hand
In belief we trace our steps
Understand
No relief in silhouettes
Battled myself so many times
What I was isn’t what I want now
We can seek denial and search for miles
Blessed love the love I need
Rolling drums the loveless bleed
Take my hand
In belief we trace our steps
Understand
No relief in silhouettes
😎👍
Thanks 😊
Thank you very much :) @@tamasapatra397
I just saw Lo Moon open for Metric last week, never thought an opening band can be so good. I was tearing up when this song was played.
yes.
saw them open for Ride years ago.
they are criminally underated.
the live show i experienced still gives questions on what was performed, a song they played still haunts me as i can not find it on anything they have published.
regardless, i met them all after playing their set and purchased lots of vinyl and a few cotton. They offered to sign the sleeves which i declined.
they are fabulous artists and hope to see them again soon, this reality or the next.
@@jhart7304 Ride also underrated but most good music never sees sales
Whoa! I just read this. Lo Moon opened for Metric??!! For me.. that's a dream show!
This song brings tears to my eyes every time I play it and it's often.
Damn - I should try and see them I guess.
You go girls!! The two little girls are my nieces!!! ;-). Love it and love you both!! KJ
Kim Jadwin they are so pretty!
Kim Jadwin great job!
Your nieces have better hand-eye coordination than I do.
Lovely!
Tell them hi and their awesome for me...wish them a great life..
literally one of the most beautiful songs ever made. it's overwhelming
You know a song is good, when you just stop whatever you were doing or thinking, wherever or whoever you are, and instinctively want to check on the music playing. A little blissful moment where you stop, and you go "huh". It hit me at 4:45. And the most beautiful part is when you really do randomly just stumble on it, thanks UA-cam, again.
I found it just now, and happened exactly the same:) Stunning!
It's such a beautiful thing to know there is at least one other person out there in the world that feels exactly the same way you do about something. This song stopped me in my tracks and I can't get 4:45 out of my head. Thank you for the comment - I completely relate.
Facts!!!
the beautiful thing is that even though we are from different countries, we speak different languages, we feel the same. This is the magic of music, and this band is one of the best magicians...
@@Pawel.K86 thanks for commenting and bringing me back to this thread! 🌺
To say the lush melody of this song stays with your soul is an understatement
Still here, 2023.
Amen ❤️
Beautifully said ❤❤

There are still good things that make me feel alive in this world. Things like this song are the reason for me to keep living.
It's every where. It's just SO hard to see. Keep going pal.
This is just magic, those drums are fantastic!
you know you love it when you have monster goosebumps the whole duration of the song and you have to make an effort to stop the tears approaching because of how beautiful this song is because you're in some public place like at work or on a bus
but everyone on bus doing same and outward 😑
whose gonna show them way out?’
I have listened to this song five times a day, for literally two weeks in a row now.
I feel like it has alternated my DNA and became a part of me. This has to be me favorite song of this year.
Jamieus Rowlando same.
me toooooo! just can't stop to listen to it!!!!
So beautifully put. I've been experiencing something similar, nice to hear others feeling so deeply
It's called epigenetics :) ✌
Jamieus Rowlando ❤️
One of the best songs ever written. (Matthew Trayling age 57) Gotta love the unexpected power at 6:07 - it's the cream.
Don't know if Lo Moon themselves ever check in, but please, if you do, know that some of us are desperately awaiting new music from you. Another name for this gem? Timeless.
Sadly they don't 😭
Idk why they've stopped
Lo Moon • I have to let you know just how powerful this song and video truly is, I listen to it everyday. It's a must!
Absolutely stunning. Just found out about this band and I am immensely impressed. Repeat, repeat, and repeat.
Their new album A Modern Life is just as good too. Criminally underated band.
One of the best songs I've heard in the last 5 years. Well done Lo Moon!
Lo Moon, the world needs you.
When I first listened to this, I immediately fell in love, now it's officially out and I can't stop listening to the album on repeat.
There was time when this song was the only thing keeping me afloat. Such a masterpiece. Listening to it now reminds me of how strong I am.
Yeah... Why not?.... It's simply superb....
It's a tiny hard-hitting movie and a hauntingly beautiful song
This isn't just a music video, ... in a sense, it's my old friends documentary. Oddly accurate
Usually I don't care about music videos, but this one just enhances the song. I need an album from them.
The first minute with the girls' clap dance on the beach to the that beautiful song intro - that is a wonderful piece of art. Iconic.
Beautiful!! This song makes you want to feel alive!! It makes you feel your emotions and is so inspiring! A masterpiece!
I dont know why every time I hear this song, I cry. This will always be my all time favorite song, I'm so glad I stumbled upon it six months ago

Zariein Rahman doesn't make any sense...what does this mean even?
thank you so much💚
Just stop and think take a breath in your heart if you've ever been challenged by love itself you may know what this means
Now it all makes total sense thank you for this interpretation of song. I've been waiting for a lyrical ovverview. Tears rolled down I can relate in my current life this moment you read.
Omg the words..wow
Wow I honestly thought a video would only ruin the song but nope it enhanced it 100x. Absolutely stunning
I was of the same opinion as well. They definitely proved me wrong.
This is a very powerful song, relays my entire life back to me, in deep nostalgia, takes me back to days I didn’t even think I remembered, and makes me think of those I’ve lost along the way. Truly powerful
I just saw Lo Moon live at No Vacancy speakeasy in Hollywood last night and it was sooo beautiful. I hopped from a full days work to a committee meeting, then dashed to their show so I didn't miss it! I love their sound so much. ❤Soft instrumental waves, pensive and pining lyrics with epic crashing crescendos. Like different waves in the ocean. Calm then stormy seas... 🌊
Envious...I would love to see these guys live...before they become super stars and I can't afford a ticket.
Wow what a blessing I live in Australia and seeing them.live would have been magical
I shut my eyes and tears immediately raced down my cheeks that’s what you call a powerful song ♥️
How many elightened minds would have listened to this in 1900s and understood that even they fit into such a twisted, heartless world? To know that it is okay to want something more from life, to feel understood when they talk about soul, life, humanity and what`s beyond the universe, to know that to be different they need to be loveless at times. It just got stuck into my mind listening to this. We are loveless because they don`t take the chance to see the unknown fearless. Let`s love each other without limits. Let`s show that we can`t be tamed and we think on our own, and we are allowed to do it. Nobody can take our soul, even if we think we sell it, so keep that in mind and don`t lose awareness. Love you all, thank you for this amazing song!
This is the best music and talent I've seen or heard in a long time. ❤
Wish I had found this song earlier. Absolutely breathtaking.
UA-cam sure is a wonderful way place filled with gems like these.
Damn. I could listen to this song while laying in my bed, forever.
Love this line:
'Blessed love the love I need
Rolling drums the loveless bleed'
What a GREAT band !!
Saw Lo Moon at ACL yesterday! Some of the best 45 minutes of my life! If you ever have a chance to see them live, take it! You will not regret it! Their sound is amazing!
just saw lo moon at gov ball and while they didn't have as many people at their venue as childish gambino or rae sremmurd their performance was so personal and mesmerizing. I didn't know them before but now i can't stop listening to their music. Hopefully they do more tours and their first album has a kick ass opening! Lo moon is gonna blow up pretty soon and i feel like i just found a diamond in the ruff with their music.
Saw them last night in the lexicon in Islington absolutely brilliant
Seldom is there a time when something portrays a level of emotion and beauty which transcends its earthly trappings. This song is one of those.
Simply love the melancholia infused in this song.
Yeah.... That's perfect abt melancholia...... Infused really well....
The first time i heard this song it completed me , it solidified the manifestations I have in my head . I will revisit this comment & song when i've manifested the things that i've seen in my visions , and it will be soon . This is the kind of music I need to be listening to in my 2Jz swapped off-road Toyota Hilux , 1AM , 220KM on the highway , cannabis cigarette neatly tucked to the side of my mouth , a beautiful empress sitting in the front seat & a slight smirk on my face as forced induction takes me through the speedways of my country , thankyou Lo Moon , I will manifest these things . this song is powerful .
this song is a masterpiece...period.
I just discovered Lo Moon from a friend. This song blows my mind each and every time I play it, and it's over and over. I dont get sick of it. It's hauntingly beautiful.
This track is epic. This band has really captured my attention. Hope to see them live at some point.
Scary how much they sound like Talk Talk, which is great!
Unreal. We saw Lo Moon live twice last year and they were truly on a different level. This album is going to hit hard and I wish you guys every success, you all deserve it.
Listening to this song is breaking my heart in half....the memories asociated with the melody and lyrics is just getting me on my knees...why am I always coming back to listen..over and over again...
an audiophiles dream... amazing.
Heard Lo Moon 1st time while driving last week and pulled over to listen. That means something.
One of the finest and purest song of the century......
I'm here and bawling. Love this.
Man, how i love this song and band💜 i get chills everytime i hear it and my soul wants it on constant repeat💜 my vinyl copy is on its way!! Can't wait!
Lo Moon, you should be Global by the end of 2020, what beautiful talent, music and cinematography. It all works and gels 💯.
Love it! CC🇬🇧🇺🇸
Oh my days!!, ashamed to say, I have only just discovered this band. Came across them whilst watching old Talk Talk videos. TT being one of my top 10 bands of all time, someone suggested giving Lo Moon a listen & boy did I hit the jackpot. Being late to the party as always, I have to say just how blown away their album has left me. I hope these guys are gonna be around for the long haul, TT left a big hole in my life when they called it a day, LM may just fill that gap, having a lifetime regret, I never got to see Mark Hollis live, if these guys show up in the UK in future, I'm there like a shot. The party's not over just yet!. Lo Moon..I'm hooked!
I literally adore anything Chris Walla has a hand/part in. His work speaks for itself.
People who are here clearly have amazing taste in music. So could people please send me links of music you also love. Music is everything. Thank you.
Hi, James. Try ''The Silence'' by Manchester Orchestra. It's quite lovely.
Try BLOW and Mansionair. They are amazing.
Girl in amber by nick cave
Try anything by “Hammock”, “Lights Out Asia”, “Pink Floyd” or “Vancouver Sleep Clinic”

I guess I'm a little late to this one, but better late than never. This song is majestic. It feels like so much care has been put into every note, and that drummer...
Yeah, give me an album full of this.
Another amazing example of how music is my no.1 passion. Lo moon are unbelievably breathtaking in their beautiful creations
I keep listening to this song over and over again 😭
So happy to see there are so many people who love this music just as much as I do! Great song!
building taste buds
or reorienting however you like
Can't stop listening.... Wish it would never end.... Magic.💜
it doesn’t! it just keeps going and going and going sameless
I just don't get why this song is not more popular! IT IS SO SO BEAUTIFUL!
This song feels like it’s my heartbeat when I listen to it, and something about it has made me fall in love with it!!❣️❣️ I come back to it over and over, year after year.
So Thankyou for this beautiful music!!🥰
Just heard this for the first time yesterday and can't stop listening.
This is by far one of the most interesting music videos I've ever seen. Goes well with this excellent song. Well done.
Absoultely addicted to this band. Seen them supporting london grammar in edinburgh. Their music is so good fot the soul... please bring out more stuff!! Added them to playlist at work now every1 is askin who they are. I predict huge things from this band!! X
Can't put my finger on it. This song is so special. It breathes, a sunrise that's never been seen before.
Love, love ❤️ this song! Lofty musical notes make you drift away!
Fellow Talk Talk heads. Love it. Please put out a full length.
Damn, that is what i was thinking - where did that voice come from? and you just said it, Talk Talk... love this song. Yeah, I know I am replying to a year old post... I'm old, forgive me.
personally I do not see any similarity with the voice of Mark Hollis nor in the music .... It's something else.
Talk Talk never dies, here are theirs children!!! The sound goes on!
Got to see them at a festival recently & this song in person IS BEYOND AMAZING. Shivers everywhere and beautiful atmosphere
Extraordinary melody with beautiful acoustic and smooth rhythm. Fantastic percussion and unique vocals. A piece of heaven!
I was driving this big machine at work, heard this refrain at radio, i had to stop in the middle of ramp and open shazam , my supervisor just went mad.
Lol
Same shit I did at worn while a customer was I. My face lmao they understood 😂😂
Reminind me of the best Talk talk in the best possible way! Beautiful.
Still can't get enough of this song. A timeless classic. Amazing with headphones on.😌🎧❤️
I love the rhythm of this song
Finding this song was the highlight of my entire day. Love the mood, love the instrumental, love the lyrics... just LOVE!
This song stirs something deep and soulful in me. It is so beautiful and transporting. Thank you.
Heard this for the first time tonight. I immediately looked up the chords and lyrics and cooked up a live looping version , replete with a chart. So simple.....so incredibly beautiful! THANKS, LO MOON!!!!
Had the pleasure of seeing this awesome band in Bristol supporting London Grammar !
Shall definitely now be a follower. Had me hooked after this song.
This song gives me eargasms
Makes me think of the best Talk Talk-albums (Colour of Spring, It's My Life, Laughing Stock, Spirit of Eden). Their new album is pretty close to their work (with some current influences). Samuel Stewart's parents made some of the best 80's/90's popsongs with Eurythmics (Sweet Dreams and many others), Bananarama (especially the song with Fun Boy Three) and Shakespear's Sister (Stay which video is a must see, Hello Turn Your Radio On and I Don't Care).
Haha
I hate those comments that call things out, but you know what? This band is going to be f.. huge. It's just a matter of time. I hope they're around for a long time and their first album is as epic as this song.
Yep. I saw them open for The War On Drugs and was completely entranced. I turned to my friend and said we'd be seeing them (Lo Moon) headlining within two years.
Well it's almost 2021 and they haven't made a name for themselves yet, beautiful song though
For everyone saying they sound like this band, they sound like that band...true
Yeah, Talk Talk, Catherine Wheel, others have spiked this vein before, but it doesn't take anything away from their own specific kind of beauty. I mean we all know music companies often look for bands that sound like other bands who have been wildly successful so they can ride that fame to the bank, but even as they follow the recipe pretty closely, they obviously have such a clear and original essence. I will forever love this group. Fan forever. Mwah💋
The most beautiful music i've ever heard
I've just been to the London Grammar concert in Berlin with you guys supporting the band. Damn, you were the highlight of the evening. I'm frickin obsessed with you! I wish you all the best!!!
just love it, over and over again, every day since I discovered this song
So reminds me of Talk Talk.
If you appreciate this as much as I do then you will probably love Talk Talk’ s. “Laughing stock” . This track, his voice, tHe mood , wow
Beautiful melody
Seriously this is one of the best songs I heard lately.. a masterpiece! Incredible
The drums in this song are eargasmic.
Warren Fu, you are a genius and incredible performances by the band. Really emotional and beautiful world you all created
Wow... wow... wow... Magic. The stars aligned again. Music is alive, Thank you providence.
Absolutely incredible
