For those wondering, the crazy lady bit was a Halloween act. She's an immensely talented singer with a voice like Adele and a great UA-cam channel of her own. Her version of Halleluyah is astounding.

It struck a chord with me when the title was "crazy woman" because I've been called crazy just because I show my emotions, and neighbors heard me crying, (really wailing) when my mom died. They didn't know what happened, they just thought I was a whack a doodle, and the entire neighborhood would walk by my home, (grown adults) and say, "The crazy lady lives there." It was a nightmare that I had to endure until I moved. It hurt deeply. Words hurt, and it was added sadness, dealing with the loss of my mom, because she was still relatively young and we all thought she had more time. I feel we shouldn't use that word in society, because we all have suffered a lose, or something traumatic in our lives. We're all human after all. It's not difficult to simply be a kind person, and stand up for others. Indifference is just as bad, but I'm unable to change everyone's heart. Compassion is everything to me, and I learned it even more so because of what the neighborhood put me through. We don't know each others stories, so I feel we should slow down a bit, and share more. We'd all be more empathic towards one another. I struggle as well, and I hope you feel your worth. My very best to you. 💞💞

*Every person is unique. This kind of presentation is just silly.* Dolores O'Riordan would surely cry if she saw this video. It is important to understand the background and meaning of songs in order to fully grasp their message. In this case, 'Zombie' is indeed a protest song against the Northern Ireland conflict and it should not be associated with fun, joy or frolic. We have to imagine how the victims, especially the mothers of these children who were killed, feel when they watch this video.

Is it just me but do most of the covers that Allie does sound much better than the original recordings ! I know I'm biased because I loved her voice since I first heard her many months ago. She's only 18 but already has a very mature voice. Her vocal range and vibrato are superb but its that husky and smokey timbre and tone she has that is always just thrilling and captivating to hear. Che bellissima voce Allie. Brava !

Given the fact that Allie is Irish, she should be more sensitive in her interpretation of this sad song. The song was written by Dolores O'Riordan and is about the Northern Ireland conflict and the aftermath of the 1993 bombing in Warrington that killed two children.
The song's lyrics express the pain, sadness and frustration of the ongoing conflict and violence in Northern Ireland. It also criticises the ignorance and indifference to the suffering of the people and calls for an end to the conflict.
Although the song carries a serious political message, it also became a commercial success and for many people is associated with the music of the 90s and the distinctive style of The Cranberries.
