Sadge, seems like you never got to Nakarkos then, but I understand the burnout, easily the longest village in the series, and you still need to do the hub content up to G rank on top of that
(also you never tried out prowler mode which is sadge too)
But its always nice to take a rest every now and then👍 (the game tells you that too lmao)

I've been redoing GU with my younger brother and I'm also getting tired, too.
Too much of a good thing is a bad thing and knowing when to take breaks to do other things is absolutely essential for enjoying this game for how beefy it is.

as a dedicated swaxe main with a couple thousand hours in GU alone, the trick to trance slash is using the initial hits to get trips/flinches (easier said than done lol). also, i know using all 3 arts is big awesome spectacle but i find its not worth it, for me ill run one of the buff arts with trance and have flexibility either in my 3rd art or just using guild cause i like the moveset the most. one of my fave suggestions, demon riot with Brave style is nuts, you can spam super powerful elemental discharges at an insane rate and because of Brave they come out way faster too, i always run this setup when doing narkarkos or other big slow monsters

Reverting to a more simplistic weapon like Great sword could help. The complexity of some weapons like Charge blade can be too much to handle over a long period of time.
There's also resistance effects you could use for annoying status effects, getting resistance against daze has greatly reduced the stress I felt from fighting fast attacking bosses like Glypceros.
But honestly, it's just best to take a break, don't go too hard on yourself
