You have made an excellent set of DRO Install Video's, with very sturdy brackets, and the best part is everything works .. LOL thanks for your Info that you produce all the time. Keep well till next time
Nice job Ade, a useful instruction manual for when I eventually fit a DRO to my new mill. Nicely made as always, looking forward to the Shed talk. Cheers, Jon
Thank you , its interesting seeing you update what appears to be a very sturdy and sound mill looking forward to your power feed ideas I can't understand why the optional power feed unit is so expensive anyway keep up the good work.
There is basically one manufacturers of these DROs and scales, with dozens of OEMs putting their own stickers on them. You’ll notice that they all look exactly the same.
Firstly Ade, a very good final part to the DRO series, as I was wondering how you were going to do the Y axis. Ade I am really surprised that you only have that many subscribers! You are so entertaining I thought you would have had a great many more. I subscribed the very first video I watched as I recognised that you were a trained craftsman from the off and that I could learn from you. So come on guys and gals subscribe if you want to learn from a superior British toolmaker of the old style. ( I was going to say English toolmaker but I suspect that the Welsh Red Dragon may have objected lol )
Thank's Mate . Means a lot . I guess I am not pushy enough and many people like the fast forward type videos . I do try to explain everything including my random thought process . Thanks again Ade.
ADES WORKSHOP you are welcome mate! I've just been on Warco's web site, can't remember what you said about lost cross slide travel with DRO fitted but spec on the Warco 16 is 175 mm cross travel. Cheers mate!
What! Where’s the green jumper gone? Guess your making so much money on UA-cam you’ve gone all up market 🤣. Thanks for another great video. Looking forward to the shed talk one coming up. Cheers👍
Decided to take the plunge and get the WM16B mill. Seems to be the best in its class for the budget. Decided to fit a DRO myself. I think they way over charge for theirs.
Finally done good job.... as other UA-cam creators do. You could make dimensional plans for all the parts and sell them. Keeps up the funding for the channel good luck as always
Gday Ades, very nicely done, looks neat as well, I think I need to bust the wallet open and get a dro for my mill, the problem is I’m a tight ass😂, great video mate, take care. Matty
Hey Adrian.....How happy are you with the mill itself. I have space for a 45 series mill but your mill is really impressive! It runs really smooth cuts from what i've seen! That is a 30 series isn't it? or a 20 series? I am in Convict land otherwise known as Australia. If I go a 30 series mill I can afford a few more goodies for it and I won't be making to make a living of it! Any comment? Keep up the good work!
I live in upside down land too. I got a RF 45 clone from HAFCO FOR A GOOG PRICE, their model HM46, Stil for sale about $2200, For about $2000 extrayou get all the bells and whistles you need. Look at Bundy Bears site he has the HM 48 model Estephan
Looking good Ade! Thanks for sharing. I'm still setting up my workshop and was wondering if you could please tell me what shop vac you have and if you'd recommend it? Thanks, Morgan
Aldi sell a shopvac for about $60 Aust.. They work well are fairly small(20/30 litres) and have a power take off.. cheap enough to have several around the garage.. you can get spare bags for them too,!! Estephan
Ade can you recommend an ER32 Collet set, i purchased a set from bangood but was a little disappointed with the accuracy on my mill.Would Warcos fair any better?
G'day Ades good job you helped me out how to fit mine. Top job and thank you once again regards John

I used the exact same set up but my pin configuration was wrong. Quite a simple job to change it so no worries. Excellent job Ade. 👍
Nice job fitting up your DRO . If you are ever in Perth , you can fit mine !!!

Hi Ade I just watched a UA-cam video by Mr mechanical making his own power feed for his milling table and I thought you would be interested.
ein Messstab von Sino (KA200) hätte dort gepasst.
Can't find it? it's saying no match?
mee too, looks like the shop's been taken down :-(
