      @@MrPDHobbit Texas has multiple different climates and that leads to a large amount of plant/animal diversity! There are multiple species of coleoptera that I'd like to add to My collection that live in Texas!

    They look pretty awesome, but i would freak out seeing one in person. Too big, and has bitey parts

      @@Eddardstark9308 I believe it! Lumberyards/timber harvesting sites are great places to find cerambycids and buprestids!

      I believe you’re thinking of the Asian longhorn beetle (Anoplophora glabripennis), which this is not.

      To bad stripped ground squirrels arnt invasive were im at ill set up all the traps 🤣🤣🤣.
      They ate my garden multiple times so ya lol dam squirrels.

      @@Dead.garden pretty sure they are not invasive in the US. They have in recent years become established in Florida where they are not normally found.

      @@Dead.garden Valid, haha, there are oodles of beetle species. As far as those ground squirrels, I did some surface level research, and it looks like you can trap, kill, or catch and release them if they’re on your property.

      @@Dead.garden You could try to build a greenhouse to keep them out, squirrels are very smart.
