I know this video is a few years old, but I just found it. I am hoping to do this trail next year. I would like to be able to use my hammock the whole way. Did the member of your team in the Warbonnet have any issues hanging every night? Thank you for the great video!!
Some people carry their poles or strap them to their pack on level sections. On this hike the level sections were pretty short, so I just kept the poles in use. I'm habituated to using them, so very little additional energy burn.
Looks like a great hike, thanks for sharing it!
It’s a classic
I'm a backpacker and was curious about this loop.
Really appreciate the work here. Made me want to do it.
So I think I will. :)
Thanks man. Nice job.

I was the Warbonnet hanger, and had no issues at all finding a spot to hang every night.
Why use the poles in area's you don't need to because it seems your burning energy.
