It feels like the animation department was split between "I'm gonna be lazy about this one" and "I want this to be the coolest weapon animation you've ever seen"
It's a great metaphor for the state of the game, it has great ideas, good secondary characters and a great world, but on the other hand... it's buggy, features missing, and some broken mechanics, if developers had another year to develop the game would be what they had promised

@@karsonwright6332 8 years since announcement doesn't mean 8 years of actually straight up working on the game in cyberpunk's case. In this case, pre-production was pretty much all they had, plus mike pondsmith's writing, up until about 2016 or 2017, especially after having majority of the people working on witcher 3, and thats ignoring any possible times they might have had something and then went back to the drawing board. I've seen even mods which entirely change every idea and goal for the project halfway through development, and due to an early, early announcement, people lampooned them for the changes

The sound designs for (most of) these weapons are SO good, you can actually tell the materials they're made, their weight and the rigidity of their construction.

There is nothing cool or unique about these guns besides their animations. They're all generic black and silver guns that look like any other sci-fi gun.

Back in WW1 the Germans with their precise and methodically designed rifles broke down due to the climate in Russia. Russians made their guns simpler to combat this. So yeah, guns is guns.

@@ByeZeroo i own the game so ill hold you to that. After beating cyberpunk amd then going and playing red dead, cyberpunk feels like a old xbox 360 game remastered with good graphics. The depth pf red dead redemption 2 cannot be reach by CPDR any time soon based on the current state of Cyberpunk.

I like how you inspect the magazine on the kenshin and the crusher to say "yup, it's empty" before loading it anyway. Also the pulsar only has two bullets in it.
kenshin is a tech weapon and it dont use normall bullets, look up empty reload and tac reload of kenshin you will see the difference in full vs empty mag
also where is crusher empty? there are clearly 2 shells visible in the mag
The Kenshin mag isn't empty. It's loaded with steel darts instead of normal cartridges because it's an electromagnetic gun.
