MIT Sloan MBA Video Statement 2020

I managed to land an interview with this video statement but didn't officially get in. Instead of getting into Sloan, I'm now working with them on a business venture for a new design of ventilators for severe COVID-19 patients. I wanted to share this since I found myself trying to gather reference videos when I was preparing for my own. This was also reviewed by a Principal from Boston Consulting Group and a friend who got into and completed the MIT Sloan MBA program (he's now in Harvard!).
I hope this could be a useful reference video for someone else!

According to you, you did you not get in because if not so good interview or low gpa? You have stellar profile working for you otherwise.

I did well in the interview I think and my GPA is no issue since I passed the screening and I got the interview. However, I can acknowledge that there are people better than me and they probably have better potential in the eyes of the panel which is fine.

@@jayandcindygames can you tell me what we can do to show our actual potential to maximum; I mean how we can not under-present ourselves and let panel make better informed choice?

@@bangmachiv In an interview, it’s best to show your true self so you and they can gage whether you’d naturally fit in the environment you would be chucked in. Also, there’s so many factors that you can’t control in admissions eg mood of the admissions officer, available slots for the given year, what sort of students they’re after for the given cohort so you shouldn’t be too hard on yourself and just try again next time if you feel like you really want to get in still
