Damn Anthony, you're killing it as always. I swear you should have 2 million suscribers. Such thoughtful and professional content. Also you're very generous with your knowledge. I hope you can keep exploring and growing!!!
Absolutely awesome I am so happy for you, Great idea with the zero fret and especially the piezo addition. Also love the way they switched the maple so it has a mahogany top. I think I speak for just about everybody when I say thank you for sharing your ideas and great bass technique
The inverted use of construction materials is hilarious. Your builder has a great imagination and sense of humor. FWIW, I also have an old Squier P-Bass I'm very connected to and will never part with. I've always impressed with guys who can make active basses work.
Thats a wonderful bass Anthony with a nice clean tone and articulation. This is a first in seeing a high end instrument thats passive. Id imagine those are easier to record as producers seem to like passive fenders Im guessing.
Anthony that Bass is Beautiful I went on there Website and His instruments are Well Made that Tone is There and as Usual You taught me Something I didn't Know when it Comes to Recording the Bass Prince always used Passive Basses when He recorded Funky indeed 👍
reale nice bass Anthony. congratulations on that!! sound really great. and the piezo gives it kind of a "acoustic guitar string-ring" ( I don't know how to describe otherwise as a non native speaker)
New bass sounds great Anthony! I noticed the bridge pickup on this bass is a lot closer to the bridge than on your jazz bass. Is this something you went for deliberately? Best regards, Nick
can't say I've seen many mahogany top + neck basses with a maple body and board. Really cool sounds you are able to get out of that bass! That said, you could play anything and make it sound killer
Just feel like sharing a thought, I used to have a 5 ibanez I used for years. Parting ways with it was very difficult. You get a better bass and feel the superiority of the instrument in build quality but there is that little something missing. I think all we can do is learn to love the way every bass sounds and especially considering there's always a better choice for different styles of music. First love will always be your first love tho. That being said, I really like the new axe!
Great video, man! Would please explain how you route your vocal audio with the lapel mic? I’m assuming it goes into you the audio interface and DAW, as well?
My lapel goes straight to my camera actually. Its a super cheap one that doesn't work with an interface haha. But yeah, I record it half the volume and then boost it on my DAW, partly because my room was quite reflective.
Love your new bass and the approach of it! I'm the same ... can't handle active basses. But I wonder what strings do you play with that bright sounding bass? Steel or nickel? Thanks in advance :-)
Love your videos. Since your touching on the tech side. Can you talk about after you mix your sound, how do you sync your audio to video or vice versa? Thanks.
Happy New Bassday! I was wondering if you checked out any multiscale basses when looking for your new five string? Any thoughts on multiscale/fan-fret basses?

MTD or Michael Tobias Design basses have zero frets :)
Great sounding bass, so clear! The addition of the piezo is a great touch and sounds extremely usable
WHAHT!
New bass AND new do! It looks and sounds great too!
Congrats Anthony, greetings from Norway :)

That cutout on the body is very nice.. bet it makes it super easy to reach those higher notes. Awesome playing as always bro 😎✊🏽
Wow very nice bass; I am a recent fan of your vids and really enjoy your lessons but also the tone you get from your CV is aspiring!
That's a great looking and sounding bass! One of the best tones for a passive bass that I've heard!
Congratulations. Great for passive instruments, a real natural tone with No lack of low B.
That piezo is a really nice touch that makes the bass really unique.
This is sick brotha. Love hearing you play man! Loving the 0 fret
most important thing, staying hydrated, very nice bass!
I love passive bass too, your new one is absolutely gorgeous. With 2 jazz pickups, perfect.
Anthony you're New Bass is a Work of Art I went on the website of your bass maker He is Truly Gifted. Kudos.
The piezo sounds great mixed with pups.
Hi, can u do a video of sharing the gears you used for videos? Pedals, basses etc. Like a gears vlog. Would love to watch them.
Thats a wonderful bass Anthony with a nice clean tone and articulation. This is a first in seeing a high end instrument thats passive. Id imagine those are easier to record as producers seem to like passive fenders Im guessing.

Nice bass Anthony. Love its versatility

Couldn’t agree with you more man!
Man you look a lot like a buddy i used to play with who played guitar from Kepong. Awesome playing
I love zero fretted instruments. Should be standard practice. Great clarity and range.
They sound great, but one problem is: they wear out, and are harder to replace than a nut.
@@bongosock that's why f bass/many other builders dont use em. That being said, it's a perfectly valid preference to have one!
Great job
Nice bass man, great sound!!!
wow, really unique tones on it!
Is has an astounding quality and variety of sounds. I'm not very fond of the form/color.. But its amazing bro. Congratulations!
tremendo el bajo, Antonio, muchas gracias por la música

I liked the Squier better.
I agree
You get a crisper sound with Piezo.
Congrats bro
Congratulations on the new Bass!!
Love your sound ❤
What does the zero fret do?
Love your new bass and the approach of it! I'm the same ... can't handle active basses. But I wonder what strings do you play with that bright sounding bass? Steel or nickel?

Thank YOU my dude!

A very fitting bass, for a very fitting bass player.......Enjoy
Unrelated but you’ve lost a lot of weight since I first started following you, looking good bro!
What song in last time this video?
Sounds amazing Anthony!
What pickups are there?
It's Marceau's own pickups
FINALLY OFF THAT SQUIRE!!!!🤪😂😂😂
I can feel in your playing that you take the atila's advice 🤣🤣
Hahahahha motherflower
Why did you decide on a single cut? Adds a bunch of extra weight....just unnecessary on stage IMO.
Actually, it is lighter than my squier haha
I need to hydrate
