Good day,
Could you help me get rid of a ridge I get when I try carving the inset Eagle Head. How do you raise the carve to eliminate the line I'm getting around the outer perimeter.
Hello Bernie, it sounds like to need to add a bit of "Base Height" to the model. You can do that in the 3D view if you have V12. You will need to have the model selected and there will be a few floating icons to the bottom of the model. Look for the one that adds "Base Height". If you have trouble, I would suggest contacting suppoet@vectric.com.
I have Vectric Vcarve desktop, updated to 12.8 and I cannot work out how to see the option for adding a dimension I like you have done 2.59. What am I missing?

I wish there was an easy curve tool similar to the b-spline pen mode in Inkscape. I still find it easier to create my vector drawings outside of aspire, which is crazy considering the cost vs a free tool like Inkscape.
