I am aware of using df4 to check for timing, but that doesn't take into account Tekken's buffer system. If you input it a bit too early, Kazuya will still do the df4 exactly at the end of df2. So, I don't think it is reliable
or soon as his face looks straight for visual cueues but yeah this and sound rythm really helps specially wired / minimum latency if bluetooth headphones (aptx LL codec gives around 34-40ms delay when paired with a BT dongle) and headphones with good bass punch/sub bass helps too for pewgf/audio rhythm.
This guide is to get the timing down. I think this should be easier on the keyboard. I don't play on keyboard myself so I don't think I'll land one any sooner than you will, but it's general consensus among my friends who play both stick and keyboard that it is easier to do this on keyboard, then again, we can also chalk that down to preference. All that being said, practice! This took me months of "on and off" practice to get once, and even more to get to a more "consistent" level. You can try the f, d, df:2 skipping the neutral input, or the f, n, df:2 input skipping the d input. I alternate both depending on if I feel sharp enough to do the first option since that seems more consistent for me. Don't forget rest. It's common for me to get worse over the session while I practice this. It's cause I get tired. You only learn bad habits when tired (and frustrated)
the audio cue is too fast, not accurate. visually its correct, but if you input pewgf on the 2nd sound after the "hit" sound, you will get another df2.
Even if what you said is correct, you can always just adjust your timing. This was put together to give a rough guide and perspective on when to input your pewgf
@@KyokoUltimate I think that was a joke lol. I just recently learnt that Abolishing fist (or whichever one launches on normal hit, the FC one) and this move (cCH launcher) are different moves LOL
You do it really really fast. I play on stick and dpad. It's a lot easier to do on dpad for me. If on p1 side, you can use the tip of your thumb for f and the under knuckle for d
Wdym "without the neutral"? There're 2 ways of doing PEWGF with Kazuya: F,D,DF without the neutral and F,N,DF with the neutral like when doing a OTGF with Heihachi and a JFSR with Hwoarang
@@UltimateBallaPOM yeah, I can pull it off it's just that it's too inconsistent, It's usually a fluke and just strains my thumb. I'm kinda surprised you can pull it off with p2 tbh lol
Can you elaborate? I'm not sure what you mean by 2x 2. Is this in the history? If so, that's the Tekken buffer system. You can hold down a button and move your character around and it will still be included there
You definitely got this! It takes plenty of practice and plenty of rest. Don't stress yourself out too much. It's not productive. Trust me, I've been there. Just keep at it!
Well sorry to break it to u, but there's a reason why Tekken is known as the fighting game of all time. Also a move like PEWGF that allows you to delete 50% - 80% of your opponents life bar, by any means shouldn't be easy at all lol.

wow! now i can relive my dream of becoming an osu champion, in the comfort of tekken!
on my way to do the electric osu god fist
I just suddenly bopped my head when you started that beat
very interesting guide on the df2
wow i actually didn't notice that. good eye and frame analysis 😲

You can input it after the electric sparks animation disappears as well that works for me
Ah yes I remember using that before. I haven't tested it yet though. I'll let you know
@@KyokoUltimate Yeah it is pretty consistent for me you can try as well

Can you do a guide for keyboard as well? Seems impossible to land

@@KyokoUltimate don't be so modest you have good execution
Thanks for posting this Sir!
wait that move at the start can be done with JUST DF2 ?! I thought that's the WS2 move, which i struggle to land
Those are two very different moves. They may look very similar, but they're really really different. You cannot pewgf off ws2 as well
@KyokoUltimate ahh i see, thank you regardless for clearing that up. I'll have to try it out

@@KyokoUltimate ofc, my comment was just meant for people who were trying to do it by pressing it on the sound cue, it's slightly right after
My kazuya doesn’t recover that fast.
Can you upload a video on it? I'll try to see what's up

My question is how do you do the ewgf without the neutral its so hard for me im a dpad ps4 player so yea any tips?

Just practice till you master it
While that's true if you are practising the wrong timing you will never master it, that's why information such as this is important.
@@via_negativa6183 oh, meant after you learn the timing :)
...I'm just watching this while holding my pad and thinking "This is impossible to do with an analog stick"
On P2 it's actually possible if you use your thumb to flick forward and your index for the df or d,df part.
Basically like an arcade stick.

when you do ewgf why is there 2x 2 ? you using some sort of turbo controler or what ?

Very much so. It just takes practice
