    Very useful video! I did it today on a Yamaha F40HETL - 99% the same. Only the plastic cover is different shape

    Could you explain the benefits of the speed sensor. Is it simply there to send an accurate speed to the NMEA 2000 network? Does it disable the dash mounted Spedo? Are they only useful if you install Command link gauges?

    Question. I have a F150LA yamaha engine. my speedometer was acting up. I did clean out the inlet hole and blew back through the hole, it seems like it should work. How did the speedometer work before if I have not installed the speed sensor? Where does the black nipple go to? It was all zip tied>
