Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. It has the most populous urban area in Sweden as well as in Scandinavia. 1 million people live in the municipality, approximately 1.6 million in the urban area, and 2.4 million in the metropolitan area. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Outside the city to the east, and along the coast, is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the county seat of Stockholm County.

Where torghandel is done only certain days of the week, such a day is called torgdag. This means that a small typo can produce intriguing sentences like "Denna vecka är det torsdag på fredag istället för på torsdag".

Daniel: We missed the live stream. At what time of day did you film this ? Was it fairly early in the morning ? It is nice to see the snow melted and people out on the street - like real human beings...interacting again with life and each other. :) Also, please do not forget the simple

Stockholm is not a big city but yet clearly bigger than Helsinki where I am from.
Sadly no more direct ferry from Riga. I like traveling with it. Especially slow trip in skargard. One my swedish friend have boat, was funny to navigate islands myself :)

In this video, Stockholm looks like a modern version of Paris. The lions convey a strange Egyptian atmosphere somehow. Very nice.
Love walking with you, but one thing. What the swedes call «city» is actually city centre, or downtown. Unless you are walking all over the place of course.. :)

I'm the first one to comment. Thanks for this new walk. Stockholm is huge. I don't see people with dog in your walks. So you can film without sliding on little smelling things...
I believe ppl in Sweden clean after their animals dude, u dont have to worry about that at all. Its not like u are in Eastern Europe tho 😅
