What a remarkable argument Nick is making to his mother! She wants him to call Ben dad, but he has already explained that he respects, obeys and will love Mr. Ben but he won't be able to call him dad because he already has his dad, who is Alec. That's why when I asked him that when dad gets married, it would be okay for him to call his future wife mom, right?
