I think the common mistake people make is treat identity as a binary. The US is the only country in the world where pure talent, grit and intelligence is enough to help you create a life for yourself. Look at the number of India born and raised CEOs, politicians of Indian descent etc that contribute to the economy and fabric of the country without having connections. Imagine foreign borns running the biggest companies in India and living assimilated with neighbors without people looking strangely at them. That is the unique aspect of the US. You do not need connections to make it to the highest echelons of society. Just pure talent and grit.
@48:50 Indian philosophy is generally more spiritual compared to Western philosophy, but there are several Indian schools of thought that are atheist or agnostic. Additionally, some Western philosophies also embrace concepts similar to the afterlife and reincarnation. I thought this was worth mentioning.
The Christian church rejected reincarnation as a doctrine in 553 A.D. because it was believed to contradict the doctrine of resurrection and undermine the need for Christ's sacrifice. However, some early Christian theologians, such as Valentinus, Basilides of Alexandria, and Origen of Alexandria, did believe in reincarnation. So the church messed things to suit itself

ABCD? Try being born and raised in America but your parents are Guyanese, South American and their foreparents left various parts of India about 200 years ago. I took a DNA test and it revealed that I'm mixed with various types of Indian, but I'll never really know where home is.
As a first generation American, I so understand Akash's feelings about being home in India. Ever😢y time I went to Ireland as a child as well as an adult, I immediately felt I was home as soon as I stand outside the airport. One point though in the 70s, every white person man or child, you would be asked, "What are you?" well ABCD are some people who are americans with indian origin (their parents or grandparents were NRIs at some point) and NRIs are people who are indians living abroad. there is a big difference and i learned this when i made american indian friends at my grad school 20 years ago, don't treat them as indians or NRIs, they are americans with indian background which they may or may not be proud off and we can't judge them for that.

31:00 Staying in the US for 7 years and I have a 6 yo daughter who all of a sudden stopped eating her lunch box and later she told us that her friends were making fun of her food and she hid her lunch box (We mostly avoided school lunch mostly because they add a lot of sugar)
So being made fun of in school is true even today.
Of course it is. Why are you surprised by that
@@21972012145525I am not surprised - look at the time stamp I am saying that we face it even today and it isn't over yet
I can’t believe that still happens to this day
I was waiting for this!
Random thought: talking abt kpop and showing pics of a random kpop group but not the group that actually set off the kpop wave in US, India and everywhere else seems very wrong. 😂
Gangs of Wasseypur is on my watch list. Thank you🙏

2:90 Change that intro music bro it feels like the starting of some old-school news channel hosted by a middle-aged uncle
also you holding TRS sign is so dull do something more vibrant your whole podcast lighting is like sitting in the dark like there is a power cut and your started some candles.
you must have seen other podcasts lighting is important brother. This setup darkens the mood.
Call Sid in your podcast
what is purpose of life ?
searching for long time got an answer from sadguru. I got the answer.
well ABCD are some people who are americans with indian origin (their parents or grandparents were NRIs at some point) and NRIs are people who are indians living abroad. there is a big difference and i learned this when i made american indian friends at my grad school 20 years ago, don't treat them as indians or NRIs, they are americans with indian background which they may or may not be proud off and we can't judge them for that.
Save Bangladeshi Hindus. Hindus are becoming soft target of Anti Discrimination movement and quota movement in Bangladesh. 4 Hindu killed and Hindus from munshiganj, Rangpur, Panchagar, Naohkhali are being attacked .
Save Bangladeshi Hindus.
Awesome 💯💯!
He is explaining who is tyrese like we haven’t seen all the Fast and the furious movies 😂😂😂
I recommend Interstellar if anyone hasn't seen it already
Waaseypur is in Dhanbad in Jharkhand, which was in Bihar earlier. Nothing to do with Uttar Pradesh. Why does Ranveer regularly disappoint?
