What other questions do you guys have about student loans? Lmk!
Why didn’t you choose A&M? Personal preference? Or why?
Jesus Zendejas I personally really disliked A&M’s culture/vibe lol. I also didn’t want to go to school in such a small town
I’m personally going to an online school at an in state university after cc I won’t have to pay living expenses just tuition which is 10k for the school I picked and after fafsa it should be less I’m going to take out the low rate federal loans for that little amount and continue investing my money elsewhere and then when I graduate I will put my investment on the loans 🤷♀️ My family said it was a good plan It’s not as important for me to network as I want to do real estate anyway but I still want to go to school
@@LynetteAdkins well I got accepted to both and I’m honestly tongue tied for which one to go to, but I hear the courses at UT are more rigouris is that true?
@@tracy_cakkes may I ask what are some good places or tips on where to invest my money until it’s time to put them into the loan.
I sitting here crying and stress over having to take out loans for school. So thank your for this.
I am in the same boat right now. Looked at my term balance and I'm currently stressed! We're so young but nobody really guides us on this
You should keep in mind that there is also the option of starting your college career at a Community College. Don't let people make you believe that you are less than or underestimate the education you would get at a community college, plus they are not going to pay your debt at the end of the day. I did my first two years at my local Community College and didn't pay a thing! I'm in the process of going to a 4 year university at the moment and about to take out some loans for the remaining 2 years. But attending community college cut the price in half. You should research on-campus jobs that cover some of your fees at the college/university. For example, for my senior year I'm interested in becoming an RA (residential assistant) which would cover my room and board costs. With all of that being said, it's in your best interest to do your research because there are many ways to make your college experience more affordable!
Debt, no matter what you use it for, should only be used for the short term. Preferably never.
For sure
Thank you so much for sharing this and going into so much detail! I appreciate you.
Thank you, no one really helps or explains these things so I appreciate you making this video so much😩💕
this was so helpful, thank you!!
OMG purr this was so helpful thank youuu!
Appreciate the help!!!
I thought going to school loan free was impossible.
I graduated high school in 2020. Most of my peers have already gone to school. I haven’t. I’ve been saving. This fall I will be going to school with my program paid for in full.
No, I’m not going to an expensive university, no I’m not taking a 4 year program. Yes I will be working part time while studying.
But this time next year I will be graduating and starting my career debt free. I think that accomplishment is worth waiting a few years for.
Student loans are not your only option.
Very helpful!
Life saver. Thank you
Thank you so much for this info ! What are the best lenders for private student loans ?
I took out a lot of student loan debt, none private, but I am majoring in Cybersecurity and am comfortable with taking out that debt (at the time, only way I could see myself affording school, but I'll be still applying to scholarships ofc.)
Yeah you'll definitely be okay, that's a great major!
hi i was wondering how it went for you after you took out the loan. im actually about to start software development and im looking into taking out loans.
@@alenabellmays799 So currently, I work full-time, and my loan payments aren't due until next year. I would highly recommend looking at scholarships to minimize the amount of debt you have; student loans shouldn't be your first option IF you can afford it.
I would also recommend keeping track of your interest rate and what you'll owe monthly; that will put into perspective how much you need to be making as well to comfortably pay them off.
I’m bout to be studying your videos like a lecture
Loved this! Should be trending for more students to see this!!
Thank you!! Hopefully soon 🙏🏽
I found out the other day that my us student loans through the government isn't covered by the cares act. Now I am scrambling to get into repay plan. Absolutely ridiculous
1- don’t do it 2- read number 1!
Cordially,
Someone who has too much student loans
Don’t tell people not to do it . Some people this is their only option to get through school . It’s all what you willing to sacrifice In the long terms
Can you explain why?
@@willm3027 depends on everyone's situation but really also depends on the return on investment you will get from college.
@@julioment2910 Some people but most people choose to. The smartest way is join the military and take advantage of the forever gi bill.
Love your hair. What products do you use for natural curls.
Aussie Moist and Aunt Jackie products!
I only took out 5,500 because that's what fafsa allowed but I really really regret it, all debt is bad imo
Really? Why do you regret it? I thought those were the “better” loans?
If you need it, you need it! If that's your only choice than I think it's okay
Did it go into your bank account?
Hello!
Does the private lender transfer the money to the student’s account or the school’s?
What did you have to do to get real estate license?
which program did you borrow student loans from?
Do you need to have your taxes done in order to take out a loan??
Can you use the loan money to pay the monthly charge for the private loan?
Only take out loans if you are desperate. Try and work a part time job in school instead.
Definitely
Interesting
Can you take out 80-90k a year?
im gonna ask devry if mine will be subsidized or unsubsidized
I wanna do Med Billing and Coding but I am afraid to take out the loan I was told I am not going to have to pay for anything while im in school..but once its finished 6 months after that I am gonna have to pay. Im hearing the interest is what kills and how we can be stuck paying for life😣😣😣 class starts on Feb 28th😭 Gotta make a choice
whats up with all these bots ?
One thing everybody must do in life is manage their income, yet there few schools that teach life skills, consumer economics or budgeting and investing. All levels of governments are very poor at it so vote for somebody who does and knows about finance and business. They say budget deficits do not matter. Can you buy anything by just putting it on credit continuously with a never ending credit limit increase? No, your income is a restricting factor. Same thing at the macroeconomic level. Need evidence? Education cost more so higher loan balances occur, housing costs more, there is inflation except for incomes that are deflating until Trump's policy anyway. Did you like the Obama economy or the Trump economy better? Trump, then you sway towards capitalism. See above for the good news.
