Toph Beifong is an earthbending master, one of the most powerful of her time, and the discoverer of metalbending. Blind since birth, Toph was constantly treated condescendingly because of her visual impairment, particularly by her overprotective parents, Lao and Poppy Beifong. Upon discovering badgermoles, earthbending animals who are also blind, she learned how to use earthbending as an extension of her senses. This gave her the ability to "see" every vibration that passes through the ground.

Full disclosure, this song literally saved a life. A friend of mine lost a lot and when he thought things were getting better he lost his child. Its been a fight for a while now in his depression. Somehow this song really helped him branch away from his thoughts of suicide. I honestly can't express how happy this made me. I truly want to say thank you for this song. Your changing more lives then just for the ones who enjoy listening to great music. Some people truly need these songs.

Honestly, Toph is still my favorite atla character after all these years, and this song+video exemplifies it perfectly.

Toph is the ultimate character in ATLA for me. She shatters convention, invents new styles, trains others to use her techniques even without earthbending where applicable. Aang learned to stop relying on his sight because of her. He learned to see beyond sight. And never lets someone else tell her how to be.

I literally had just finished watching the newest Marvel What If episode (god almighty that series is depressing when you think about how most of those realities turned out...but episode 4 still takes the cake) I was feeling all somber then saw a notification about Toph song from Divide named Move Mountains, and I made a complete 180! I knew this sucker was gonna be hella inspirational just from the name and being Divide Music, and he sure as hell did _not_ disappoint!

I love how every one of his songs doesn't have to be directly related to the character or show the song is inspired by. Just shows what great song writing Divide has.

That's exactly why I love it! It's easily AMV material and other stuff like that. A song themed on something doesn't have to make references to the source so blatantly like most people do, that's also why I like the Pokemon Journeys' The Journey Starts Today theme. One of my few exceptions is the Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes theme Fight As One.

I just see myself working against the societal stigmas that trap me, that try to hold me down. It was liberating.
A song that this woman needed to hear more than anything right now. A track that brought tears to my eyes not even 45 seconds in. A song that will be on loop for the next week, in my head whether it's playing or not. This song doesn't even need to be a Toph song. It could have just been your song, an original track about life.

I'm a little late. But I'd love to say that Toph is my favorite character! I love this song. It shows how strong this girl is and it also shows me how strong I can be too. As a blind person who loves a blind character, Toph means a lot to me. This song is both inspiring and beautiful.

Ngl I wasn't expecting this kind of vibe for Toph, but it works so well and I think I'm crying just a little bit now.
Honestly, whenever I was younger I loved Sokka. However, during my Sophmore year in college I rewatched Avatar and I can confidently say that I love Toph more than any other character in the show because she broke away from her family and chose not to live the life they wanted for her.
This show is just amazing in general though, and so is the song! Awesome job Divide, your music could move mountains!

Toph's my favorite character in ATLA, literally because she turned the tables with the helpless blind girl and made herself into the GOAT of Earthbenders. I have my own disabilities, and it's hard to get anyone to see me as anything other then the stereotype set up for me by society. So that's really impressive to me that Toph was able to do so much on her own, not to mention what she could do with the Gaang. I love the song, it came out PERFECTLY. It fits her personality and is extremely relatable while also unique at the same time❤

There's only a handful of female cartoon characters who I consider to be the best of all time.
But among that select few? Toph Bei Fong tops the list. She's not just one of the best female cartoon characters ever. She's one of the best characters ever in fiction.
She's literally the archtype. The blueprint on how to overcome adversity.
Today's supposedly "strong" female cartoon characters can't hold a candle to her. Not to start a fight, but having an agenda or trying to push one doesn't make a female character strong.
Toph proves that if you want respect and recognition? You get off your butt and earn it instead of expecting it to be handed to you.

This song is excellent, you're production quality is not inferior to some of the bigger names in the music industry, you have a great vocal range and all of the lyrics are understandable even without subtitles. In my opinion, the only reason you aren't more popular must be because of a lack of advertising. On UA-cam I personally think you're defiantly on par with other music creators like, Caleb Hyles and Leeandlie. I hope you continue to grow and I can't wait to see what you create next.

I just want to point out, that the Dai Li are an elite force of Earth Benders, complete badasses without peer. Anytime Toph engaged them in combat, she just bodied them like they were plebes. Toph isn't just the greatest Earth Bender to ever lived but might be one of the best Benders, ever, of all time. Certainly my favorite out of all of them.
