Good lord, the nostalgia is huge returning to this in 2023. That melody, those strings/synth (cant quite tell what it is), and that subtle lead guitar underneath all of it just make for an amazingly sentimental and memorable sound. Man, I feel old now. 😅
Oh how can I forget this song from 2002... 18 years young.. working a shitty day job, hitting the pub Thursday, Friday and backing it up Saturday... wouldn't change a thing!
Totally get what you are saying... I was 19 in Melbourne with a dead end factory job hitting the pub scene on a Wednesday Friday and Saturday night living pay check to check... would not change a thing now as I look back and wish I could go back and relive those days
This is my teenage soundtrack back in 2002. I bought "Shoot This" album at local CD shop in Japan when I was in junior high school. I thought the band from UK but anyway.. Motor Ace music was instantly hit me. Still love you and please come to Japan sooner!
I remember this on my ipod before they even had a colour screen. Must have heard it 1,000 times. Is this way home..? we just stare while the wheels fall off.....
Omg thank you for posting this! I just heard this on the radio for the first time. And I was like my god that sounds like something else. Kept thinking Erase and Rewind by the cardigans. But you’ve solved my problem so thank you!
that's because you're thinking of Cast No Shadow by Oasis, except it's the remix version: ua-cam.com/video/Lzj89V4ROTI/v-deo.html&ab_channel=BSidesandRemixes
Some songs are reminiscent of Oasis, but Motorace have their own unique style. I don't think I've heard an Oasis song quite as grungey as most Motorace songs.
One of Australian music’s most underrated songs
Nice to see someone use 'underrated' in a correct context.
Coming back to this song after many years, the nostalgia hits hard. One of the greatest Aussie songs ever produced. Absolutely timeless 👌🏻

I was a broke Uni student. Going to pubs around South East Melbourne suburbs. Life was pretty good back then. I'd give anything to go back.
When I was going to highschool in France, 15 years ago, I used to listen to this song, I felt like moving to Australia once I would be 18.
me too😅👍

A song that's been helping me since my grandfather passed away.
I absolutely live this song 🎶It's the best song Oasis never sang! It should have millions of views 💖 xx

Great live act, see them tomorrow night at "The Espy" in Melbourne
Dedicated to a special woman.....trying to show her that when I think of her the whole world stops and it's just us xx
This song feels more like 90s britpop than 2000s Australian alternative. Great track. Been trying to find it for ages.
such a big song, classic in my mind
Great Aussie Song!
It's a travesty that these boys didn't take over the world...
Yet another classic only for those with understanding. Obviously written before social media 🤔🧠
Bloody great song
Well done awesome thank you boys😊
Only 160 likes in 2020... that's criminal 😯
This song got me through a lot of shitty times.... 🇦🇺

Damn, music of my childhood
places you know, friends that you know....
the intro sounds just like What's The Story Morning Glory.

@@12gjunior seems like this song would make a perfect soundtrack for that movie
Sounds like they were inspired by Wonderwall.
Not really BUt oasis are a truly great band...

Great song. Kinda thought they always sounded like oasis
