It's a challenge for the picky eaters and people with very limited taste palate 😂 which's why i think they should rename this challenge to "picky eaters try: fufu edition"
The dark one is my favorite because it from where I am from in Nigeria, in Ibadon. Its called Amala. Pronounced A- ma- la. And its been said women who want to give birth to twins would eat this more often would give birth to twins. And if you look up on UA-cam you will find this to be true. Me being from there, I can tell it is, but its because of the type of yam it is. And it gets it's dark color from the way the yam is processed after it's been harvest. In the same way an apple once cut open gets dark because of the oxidation process, so does this yam after peeling it. Then they leave out in the sun to dry before taking it to the place where they will turn it in a workerable flour to create what you are now eating. The traditional soup to eat it with is called Ewedu, and a bean soup goes with it to. They are served together one on top of the other, with the red stew and any type of meat of your choice. That is the real way to eat the( Amala) not FUFU the dark one in your hand. And its yummy and you are to use your hands to eat it. But wash your hands first. I know that goes without saying lol.

@@Venus-xj8bd They are at least trying to be respectful. As an American I can tell you that I viewed them trying to be respectful and at least name a country from west Africa the dishes are from. If they ordered it from a Nigerian restaurant then that is what they have to go by. They wouldn’t say Ghana or any other country if they are not aware. Most people have no idea how diverse different region’s culture, food, music and language can be from different regions or countries in Africa. Yes you can find similarities in regional foods or even same foods. But, most people think of Africa has one big country and if they just say African foods or west African food. A lot of people would literally think. All Africans eat what they are eating. Or all west Africans eat the same thing.
African food is truly the best in the world. I crave fufu everyday. Trying different ethnic foods from around the world can bring us altogether. Learning about other cultures can truly eliminate racism and replace it with love for food and love for each other. Food is like music it bring the world to you

They be talking about the crazy weather and I can totally relate! Hahaha. We moved here in Surrey, BC last august 2020 from Calgary. The weather there is insane. Snow is like 5 month long and -40 to -50 C.
Aww you two are so sweet and watching you eat this was fun haha! The deep fried balls (puff puff or African doughnuts) are actually eaten as a snack hence they're sweet. The recipe is exactly the same as doughnuts but shaped differently as the better is slightly runnier and then deep fried. They're usually not eaten with fufu and soup haha! Imagine eating noodles with jam doughnuts lol! But it was cute watching you two try to figure it out, even funnier when you bet it was the fried version of the fufu. At the end of the day, if you enjoyed it with the soup then of course you can! New trend 😀. Okra is like Marmite to some, you either love it or you hate it lol especially because it's naturally slimy, though some cultures fry them in batter to avoid the slime. I like okra and a lot of babies I find like it lol! Well done you two for trying out traditional African food 😍😍! Enjoy

You girls did GREAT on this the fact you respect the food and culture Much respect 💯
Finally SAS tried African food 💃💃💃. Those are Nigerian local dishes by the way 😀.
Egusi soup is my favorite of the three though 👌. Plus, I've literally tried everything on this table 😀
She tried it for a time ago. That video is in her asmr channel. 😇
@@imtu1805 oh... Okay. I'll check it out
@@ijeomauzoagu1 😊😊
As someone of West African descent when she said “I’m eating with my left hand” I was like oooooo NOOOO! 😆
I never try nigerian food but after watching this I LOVE TOO!
The puffpuff is a breakfast pastry made with flour, eaten with sugar or beans. Fufu has many different recipes. Most of the time it’s cassava.
Who eats puff puff with beans??? Sugar I can see maybe it’s usually pap 🤮
@@true4585 West/Central Africans. puff puff with spicy beans is simply magical. You’ll stand corrected.
Honestly i so much like the love of this our favorite meal is so real..
You enjoyed eating 😋
Thank you for being so real 😊
Those foods look so interesting. I wish we had Nigerian food or African foods here in western Massachusetts. I’m Armenian and our foods are very healthy and tasty too.
Puff puff is made with flour, butter, milk, eggs, yeast, salt and sugar.
You both really enjoyed the meal❤️
Puff puff is made from flour and it's a snack(dessert)and yes it is fried
omg 😂who eats puff puff with soup! wow. tis so crazy...the fact that y'all genuinely enjoying it😂
exactly your not meant to!!
Africa is a continent how about specifying the country and saying "Nigerian food" as we have several countries within Africa.but so glad that you guys are trying this..looking forward for you to try kenyan delicacies ❤️❤️
How can they say Nigerian food and it's also eaten in Ghana and other African countries?
@@Venus-xj8bd yes. True
Yea, West African food
Dude it's eaten in more than one country in Africa
I am Puerto Rican and I love Making fufu with okra soup
I was literally cheesing the entire time watching this. You two are so cute together!! lol
African food is truly the best in the world. I crave fufu everyday. Trying different ethnic foods from around the world can bring us altogether. Learning about other cultures can truly eliminate racism and replace it with love for food and love for each other. Food is like music it bring the world to you
The okra soup and the vegetable soup looks so beautiful. I'm hungry right now
I learn English with your videos🤤 Thank you😆
What i love sas and ne is they always try to eat different types of food and the culture on how to eat,! Im jealous coz im not the type of foodventure😅
I wanna try African food soooo bad after watching these mukbangs 😩😩
They be talking about the crazy weather and I can totally relate! Hahaha. We moved here in Surrey, BC last august 2020 from Calgary. The weather there is insane. Snow is like 5 month long and -40 to -50 C.
Fufu is a Nigerian delicacy. It’s popular amongst the Igbo tribe. And the “E” isn’t silent. 😂
I laughed so hard. They're so cute with the pronunciations. Lol
@@naakai6397 ok
Fufu is actually Ghanaian in origin and jellof rice is actually senegalese in origin
Fufu is not Nigerian food. It’s called pounded yam in Nigeria. Get your facts straight.
@@beetheyogi Fufu isn’t Pounded Yam in Nigeria. Get your facts right.
Do a noodle challenge with yours hands pls 😬 Sas just came up with this and I think it’s so interesting
No way
Yummm this is specifically Nigerian food
Am I the only one who's been waiting for them to eat these foods??? 😄❤
I was thinking to myself..."fufu is the most unique name for food but I like it..." Then ne lets eat said...."move over fufu..." I just died 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Enjoy
I really want to try this! I’ve never had African food before although I feel like I would enjoy okoro stew. Love okra!
No wonder sisi is buying jewelry sas is always betting eachother 😂😂😂
It's the "What made your wanna try AFRICAN food" "I thought we were gonna have Sushi" for me.
I Love Okra. Okra is extremely healthy and good for your digestive system!
My best of SAS videos ,having my favorite UA-camr eat my home food is so cool
Ok Sas, time for some Soul food. Baked, Mac n cheese, candy yams, greens and fried fish or fried chicken
yesss
Those types of food are hide to find in Canada lo
Yam, plantain and cava are the 3 types of fufu I have seen on UA-cam posts.
Your guys' eyebrows looks exactly the same, do you get it done at the same place with the same person? Lol!
It’s prob bc they’re sisters, I’m also from Thailand and my eyebrows are like my siblings too
Pounded is the white one. The black or brown is amala. They are both make of yam. One is fermented yam. One is fresh harvested yam
Omg I’m so early 💖🥺 love the videos with your sister together, they’re fun! 💜
I really like how you both enjoyed eating the food. Like I always say, it depends on who made the food. Some people don’t really know how to make an authentic Nigerian food but for those who know what they are doing, you will sure enjoy every bite of the food. Thanks guys for tasting Nigerian food ❤
You made us EXCITED to try that FUFU!! If you can please let us know what you think of our mukbang that would be amazing!!!🥰
