Kelly, honestly, my 74 yo eyes can barely see the foxes as a whole animal, you expect me to see the little bits??? lol. I just love all your scene cards, keep um coming. Are you getting snow? Alabama had flurries today and the milk and bread are gone! Us silly Southerners. 😅😅😅😅😅
Oddly we aren't. It was 60 degrees on Christmas. It's very strange weather here lately.
I 💖💖💖 the way your brain works for problem solving/trouble shooting! My husband chuckles when l’m putting cards together in my recliner & says he can’t even see the miniscule pieces l’m working with. 🤣😂 l told him, “it’s OK because you can’t hear either,” to which he responds… “what?” 🤪 Never a dull moment in our retirement! I’ve been into this card making just a couple of years & many $$ spent. I’m very grateful for you & all the design teams that are incredible artists & choose to share your techniques. I know there’s many factions to recording & editing to get the demos out. Thank you for sharing your awesome talent! 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏼💖🙏🏻

Oh, my goodness, Kelly, this card is adorable! Tiny dies are difficult for me, too, because my hands shake a bit. It makes trying to layer them a nightmare. I will definitely give the tape idea a try. I have several die sets that I haven't used yet because the pieces are so small, but this hack should help. As always, thank you, Kelly. Really beautiful card Kelly! The foxes are so adorable- well worth the extra time! As always, coloring is wonderful - even on such tiny pieces! I love that you flipped the vellum over - they look like trees behind mist. I know I am also thankful that you are able to do this full time (you know, along with full time parenting & all the other things lol)! I appreciate all the content & inspiration you provide! Great Meatloaf reference and good die cutting tips
I’m almost 80 and love making cards but can’t even consider making die cuts work if they are such tiny bits. So while this is an absolutely stunning finished card I can only applaud you.

Micro die-cut pieces give me mega anxiety, i.e., your previous deer monster face situation. Five thumbs up for you "pushing through" to cope with these, especially the eyeballs! I do wonder what the die designers are thinking when they green light these suckers for manufacturing! I would need exactly one bottle of red wine per fox assembly. Lol. It came out super adorable!
You're right! These foxes are SO cute! I'm scared to do TINY die cuts for the exact reason you state, and you had trouble with in the video. Great save by using that Pixie tape! I'm still working on using the Washi tape, not too successfully though. Still learning a lot. I love your videos and try to watch them as soon as they are released. Thank you for your great talent in coloring and working with different items in each and every video. So much I want to make as well!

Isn't low tack tape wonderful for dealing with little bits! I used this many years ago when I made mosaic sticker pictures of stamped images. Thank you for bringing this tipnique back to mind.

Awesome card Kelly, your foxes are adorable! I don't color anywhere near as well as you do, so I cut extra dies and replace small parts after coloring. Happy new year!!

Cute card! Are you ever influenced by your experiences with things that you put on your cards? I might never do a card with foxes because they’ve killed several of my hens. But, they are cute to color and use on cards. Same thing with raccoons…cute in a card, but terrorizing to my hens…🤷♀️🤦♀️🙄😂.

You know I do die cut cards and I love the finicky ones, however I would have thought twice about this one. They are really tiny. Great job!

My desk has eaten my Honeybee pokey tool.
You probably didn’t fill your copic wrong. I’ve had issues with reinkers and have returned a reinker to the store. Sadly the store only replaced the reinker that was the wrong colour (lighter than the copic 2 shades “lighter” than the wrong colour) and did not replace the ruined copic. Just so you know and don’t ruin another copic thinking you’re at fault.
That's frustrating. I'm sorry that happened to you.
It’s not a big deal, I’m just concerned it might happen to you and it’s possible you might ruin a second copic marker if you put the same (too light) ink into a new marker. Also beware: although online purchases are cheaper, I NEVER buy copics online any more. I’ve bought them with cracks, one had a huge split up the side, many have loose lids etc. Now generally hubby goes to the store and he checks the copics I need until he finds a perfect one.
You got me in to copics, I love them, so now I’m returning the favour: their quality control is not what it used to be.@@KellyTaylorCards

If you ever get tired of card making, you could make a living as a comedian, telling your crazy stories. It’s 2:00am and I’m laughing like a crazy person. Every time you say “I lost it” talking about the foxes leg, I think you mean mentally loosing. It. ❤❤
