It's pretty normal for kpop groups, this is a standard number with most new groups being smaller, but a lot being even bigger. But don't be fooled, very few can sing like this or make use of the amount of members. Red Velvet (5 members) is pretty good when it comes to harmonies, and Dreamcatcher (7 members) has a few good new songs but they could make use of it even more

For those not familiar with K-pop: This is not a typical K-pop performance. Rarely are the songs rearranged, and presented in a vocal forward format. Also, either intentionally or unintentionally, this performance was recorded and released when K-pop was in the middle of a "should k-pop idols be able to sing live" debate. Korean entertainment companies are very calculating when it comes to promoting their groups, so for a company to agree to all the terms of a tiny desk performance, it really shows the confidence they have in their abilities. In short, don't expect many, if any, other groups to follow, which is a shame since there are plenty of good vocalists in K-pop.

Tiny Desk has a VERY strict set of rules that include NO post production of ANY kind and using specialized mics that pick up near-100% pure vocals.
