Smitha, you enlightened me, make up is for every women and it’s quite doable on daily life. Your videos gave me ideas to carry make up without carrying that done up look, Very Subtle, easy and elegant make up ideas.
I absolutely love that you’re bringing mental health to the forefront! I watch your videos to help me deal with severe anxiety and panic. Thank you so very much for all of your hard work ❤️
You taught us that even sponge tip applicators have alot of use in doing eye looks and on top of that it's is easy to work with it . Thank you for sharing such amazing tips . Love you 😍
If you are finding they are too much either try blending more or use lighter colors. I've been playing with makeup for 40 years and I still have days where it comes out nothing like I intended lol. Don't give up. When you find those looks that work for you it's worth it.
Your videos have been a game changer for me, particularly since I have been using sponge tips. Love how this simplifies eyeshadow application. Highly appreciate also the very accurate length of your videos going straight to the point and so easy to replicate at home with whatever products I already have. I am quite fed up with beauty channels which tend to push the viewers to always by new stuff and can be a tremendous waste of money. Let’s just use the makeup we own first and only buy new ones when we hit the pan.
Thank you so much for giving a much simpler method for us to try!! I'm in my 50s and don't have any desire to dedicate 20 minutes per eye to do this look even though I think it looks great. I'm very excited to try your method!! Thank you for all the creative and realistic demos you create!!! ❤❤
I can tell a slight difference between the eyes because the 3min one looks a bit ashy or less pigmented than the 20min one, but they’re VERY similar! 👏👏👏 And I’ll take amazing 3min full glam eye makeup any day, especially parenting a toddler!
I thought I was the only person on the planet still using sponge applicators LOL I think they're better for application because you can control exactly where the eyeshadow goes and then I use brushes for blending. Takes waaaaaay less time!
Same, I love them lol! They're perfect to start with, then I have a couple tried and true blending brushes. I've had people say my eye makeup looks professional, and I'm down to just a few minutes per eye now :))

You don't seem judgy about people who do makeup with somewhat different products, techniques, or colors. Genuinely informative, and you come across as a kind person. Best beautuber ever.
I love how u are making this accessible for all. Most times I just watch other make up videos in awe because the tutorials really don't be tutorialling. Now I actually wanna try this and I'm going to come back to it knowing you actually made this video for someone like me to try too. Thank you and you look amazing btw😍💖💖💖
I tried this today using different purples and pinks and it worked so well I don't think I would ever go back to the traditional way of doing a cut crease. I absolutely LOVE your many ways of using sponge applicators!! A friend of mine saw that I had one and remarked that they are so outdated. I directed her to your channel.😁❤️
Yay someone that uses a sponge tip applicator! It’s been bothering me that ppl I watch only use brushes that I don’t own & not that sponge applicator that comes with eyeshadows. Thank you. Beautiful look!
I love the sponge tip methods you have taught us so far. I am actually waiting on the same palette to come in already. I can't wait to try the same look. It is so pretty. You are a makeup magician!!
I love your very close up shots of your techniques. Most UA-camrs sit so far back from camera you can actual see how they are doing whatever on the eye itself. You just see them talking about it. Again very much appreciate your camera angles!
I use makeup every day. I don't mind how long it takes as it's such a pleasure to put on and create different looks. It is like artwork. Your makeup is beautiful.
I love and enjoy these videos. The most I love about them is how you use mascara and still make the eye pop without having to use false lashes❤ Thank you for that.
I have been LOVING your tutorials for a long, long time, but never commented. Today I just HAD TO. I love all your techniques, but the sponge applicator tips are the BEST. I have always preferred the sponge tips to brushes. I'm quite rapt that my favourite Make-up UA-camr feels the same ❤ Thank you so much. BTW, I saw no discernable difference between the 2 sides.
Thank you, Smitha. I like how there new looks, new techniques, new colors. It’s never just oh another nude toned look or another I’m gonna do this or that like I always do. You really care and put time into your content and I hafta say, you’re the only beautuber that I actually look forward to seeing a new video from. And I love that you use colourpop. They are affordable and you get sooooo many different looks from their palettes. It was from you that I found their glitter shadow!
I'm excited to try this method. With a 2yo and another on the way, I've just stopped putting on makeup because I never feel I have the time. This seems so much faster and easier.
You are the best make up artist and a wonderful person. I truly appreciate your opinion and methods, you are the real thing. Honest, talented, willing to share knowledge, original, and the only person that actually made me comprehend how to appropriately make a good use of all these stuff in my drawer that I could never seem to use right. You educated me, and for that I'm grateful. Much appreciated. 💕 Greetings from Greece. 💕🙏
Wow! Your eyes are beautiful, and the results are beautiful! Thank you for showing those of us who are not makeup artists or stylists how to get such professional results!!!
This look is absolutely beautiful thank you so much for showing us alternatives and giving those that aren’t professionals easier ways to create the look. You’re a very talented young lady keep up the great job you do with your videos. Many blessings to you 🙏🏼😊
Thank you Smitha! You are so helpful to me and I appreciate that you use lots of affordable and readily available products that people can find and afford. You seem like a very humble person and for that, I appreciate you all the more. Much love to you. ❤️
Over the past ten years of UA-cam, we went from a couple people doing makeup to tutorials to millions doing them. Thwn back down to hardly anyone doing makeup tutorials anymore. I'm so grateful for your videos. I'm like to learn the newest tips, tricks, and products in makeup.
Lovely, as always Smitha, your videos are about using make up, with skill and technique, rather than just pushing us to buy products which make no difference, if we do not have your talent. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent!
I use sponge tip applicators all the time. Especially for glitter and super shock shadows. Bomb! Thanks so much for the continued tutorials. Also for addressing mental health. You're the best! 💜💛💚💙
This is the best makeup Channel on UA-cam, straight to the point always and you never disappoint with tips and beautiful looks making things simpler. You need more recognition and subs
Great method, great video, lovely colours in that smoke and roses palette! Really enjoyed this from beginning to end, including the middle bit. Really important advice given by you will help loads of people. Thanks.
Hi Smitha, there's no difference between the 2 eyes but I love the sponge tip method. I bought about 30 it's so easy and quick to use. Thank you for the stunning tutoriel. Marlene, Geneva, Switzerland
I so appreciate this! I don't want to spend an hour on my face every day, nor buy a million different makeup brushes. This was perfect. I already have many sponge applicators. 🙂 And I liked the method you used for cutting the crease with concealer on the inner lid. Nicely done!
Can I just say you got me motivated to do something with myself. It’s been a while since I have been in a funk. Most days…I don’t even put make up on (which trust me…I NEED it) Well just simply putting makeup on (& feeling cute) has me leaving the house more. You are soooo talented and creative.
Thank you for making these videos. You are the very best, I've seen, at putting on makeup. Your eyes are, always, done so beautifully. The best, and quickest, too. Your shades, and blending, are absolutely beautiful. Flattering to anyone.💖
I am so glad I found your channel. I am graduating college this Saturday and I literally have not done make-up since my freshman year so I forgot everything lol so thank you!!

Thank you for your hard work!
Smitha, I love how you show the brushes and technique. Gave me a new reason to love makeup and understand all the different brushes and what they do! Thank you 🥰❤❤❤❤❤
Queen Smitha!!! You NEVER disappoint! I love how you make makeup accessible and easy for beginners and professionals alike!! I know I can do these looks because you've taught me I can! Sending you warm wishes and good vibes ✨ absolutely STUNNING as usual!!! Mental Health is so important! Thank you for reminding us of this!
thank you so much for making these sponge tip tutorials! ive pretty much given up on creating eyeshadow looks because they take forever, but your tutorials have definitely made it possible for me to try out fun eyeshadow looks again!
I love your fast track makeup videos but the fact that you are addressing mental health and an affordable link to counseling makes you exceptional!! Thank you for all the information! ❣️❣️
You are my ultimate favorite beauty influencer! I have learned so much from you and I get so many compliments on my eye makeup. Swipe and dab is my makeup mantra 😊
Before you started I guessed which method you used on which eye and I really preferred your right eye (our left) and it’s amazing it was done with the sponge tip applicators! Beautiful!!!!
Wow! So simple and I used to love The sponge tip applicators until I started watching more and more tutorials using this brush and that brush and this other brush so I purchased every size brush imaginable and only use about 4 lol. So the sponge applicators is definitely a better way to apply eye makeup and definitely cheaper. But this cut crease using applicators is genius. Thank you for the tutorial!
Smitha I'm going to get that pallet it's so pretty 🦋 Thank you so much dear for bringing awareness of mental health and ways to seek therapy for it . Because of medication and therapy I'm here today as I battle border line personality disorder/ bipolar that was genetically passed down to me on the female side of my family . I've lost a cousin and paternal grandmother to this disease so I'm blessed to be here ❤️
@Debra Cox, I was recently diagnosed with bipolar unspecified. For years, it was thought to be major depressive disorder until I found right doctor. Mine is also passed down on both sides of my family. I used to work in mental health with teens, but just couldn't do it anymore for my own mental health. I truly can relate and wish you the best. So sorry for your losses. ❤️ These diseases can be as fatal as cancer and need to be taken as seriously with treatment without society's still shame and stigma, which prevent some people getting the help they need before it is too late!
this video is amazing, never tried a cut crease before + I'm a makeup newbie and was kinda able to pull it off on my first try using this technique(on nearly monolids to boot)!! thank you for video!
You have such mad skills Smitha! And very beautiful eye's. I like that you wear natural looks for every day life, but also show the beautiful glam looks too. You're a master at what you do. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so so much. So often I dont wear makeup bc it takes so long. I love cut creases but never felt I could even try them. Im going to try them with your style now. I love all of your techniques esp for hooded eyes. Thank you so much.
Def welcome more Swipe N Dab method tutorials. Love those Berry hues. Your lower lashes are so thick and lush. Mine are really long, but they're sparse underneath, so jealous of yours 😍
She does it so easy. No mistakes. You know how many q-tips and tissue I use to do make-up lol? The dabbing definitely works better than swiping and blending with brushes.
I’ve been using sponge tip applicators for my duochromes, shimmers and Metallics. I like them better than using my fingers since I have small lids. Love your videos!
I'm at awww with your make up tutorials Smitha!!! I am love with eyeshadows and palettes and i have a few of them in my collection, but sadly never played with them because I'd get very overwhelmed and nervous they would look awful on me, I didn't know how to apply them. Well, thanks to you and your very detailed videos, I've been using some of my eyeshadow palettes!!! They don't look as good on me as they do on you, but it's a start, I save your videos and follow your tutorials step by step, I'm so happy with the results and again, thanks to you I'm using my eyeshadows palettes that were just collecting dust:)
one thing is that cheap eyeshadows can dust away if theyre rubbed too much, so it might take longer version with low quality shadows and the quick version for high quality pigmented
i cant thank you enuf , i wud neva apply apply eye shadows but since u made it so easy with these dab techniques , i do it more often and love it. u r amazing!
Thank you 🙏🏼 for talking about mental health!!!!! I really appreciate you normalizing mental health!!!! Love the eye look as usual!!! Can’t wait to try it today!!!!!!!!💕😊
I love this application technique. I thought I would share the sponge tip applicators I purchase... they are from Shop Miss A, and are the Celavi 12 piece eyeshadow applicators. They are such nice quality, and they last for many applications!
Loved the shadow and the talk about mental health. You have a beautiful large eye base to use for these methods. It looks amazing. I am definitely going to try this method. I took screen shots and will be re-watching!
I used to dance and i would get embarrassed using sponge tip applications while other girls had nice make up brushes. After watching your video i feel so much better about myself haha thank you ❤
I like using aplicators for pressed glitters or creamy glitters when I don't want to use multiple brushes for clients. But I've never used it to this magnitude and will definitely try it on myself first. Thanks for this tip, this will save me time and allow me to work with more clients in a day than usual.
You killed it! Absolutely amazing.. I'm so glad you did this video I love beautiful looks but I don't like spending a lot of time, you proved it possible! Thanks Babe :)
This is time saving video... I always have problem to do eye makeup because it's time taking work but this is quick...thanks dear... You are life saver... 🤘❤❤😘😘

I have issues with my fine motor skills but love makeup, a cut crease is so tough for me. This makes it so much easier!
You have such mad skills Smitha! And very beautiful eye's. I like that you wear natural looks for every day life, but also show the beautiful glam looks too. You're a master at what you do. Keep up the good work.
Thank you thank you thank you. I’m so trying this tomorrow. I think you are absolutely stunning with and without makeup
Your tutorials are great. I am glad you describe the tools you are using, for example, flat shader brush, concealer brush, sponge tip applicator etc.
I love the sponge application method…it’s turns out so much softer looking. Sadly I still haven’t figured out to to do it for myself. 🥴
I have mobility problems in my wrists and this has literally change my life.
I've tried brushes, and they work for so many people, but I always found them messy and hard to use. I love those little sponges!
Wow! Not only have I been tossing the sponge tips for years, I had no idea this look could be done in less than 10 minutes. Thank you!
one thing is that cheap eyeshadows can dust away if theyre rubbed too much, so it might take longer version with low quality shadows and the quick version for high quality pigmented
Love it. You make it look so effortless that's what I like about your videos
I finally found my people. I've never had the patience to spend 20min on my eyes, let alone my whole face. THANK YOU!!
We have similar eye shapes so I LOVE your channel and tips! They’re extremely useful! Thank you❤️

You always come up with better ideas. Thank you so much 🥰🥰❣️
I love this application technique. I thought I would share the sponge tip applicators I purchase... they are from Shop Miss A, and are the Celavi 12 piece eyeshadow applicators. They are such nice quality, and they last for many applications!
I just can't help myself from saying: you are so beautiful!! 😍 Lovely tutorial, straight to the point. Loved it.
You make every look easy for us ! Thank you so much 💓💗
Loved the shadow and the talk about mental health.
