Why would you wanna connect your pc t a TV tho? If your are playing fps games like cs,cod it's always better to have a high refresh rate than have a large screen and a slow refresh rate.
Doesn't matter too much. My mate is a semi pro counter strike player and he played on a 32" TV with no problems - he topfragged.

TV is not a good replacement for Monitor. If you play fast paced games & competitive multiplayer then a TV will not give you good performance as the response time of a TV is way more than a Monitor.
