Ok big D I am running a Jp8 along with 2 audio control acm 4.300 focal 3 way cross overs in front . I must say my system sounds absolutely incredible.
I am old school base head but as I age now I just want sound quality as a testament to the JP amps. They sound amazing for the price you just can’t beat it.

I only have the small jp amp in my work truck slamming two sundown 12s want to add two more subs and grab a 4 ch from them since I have the 6.5 all in it and they scream and are amazing . Your ch has been my favorite goto for two years brotha ! Keep them windows shaking !

D4S, putting in work! when i was into car audio (richard clarke GN days), 1k watts was a beast......now, holy moly. and we didnt do much beyond a big extra battery and stiffening caps

bck when i was in audio, like you said 1k watt amp , we were like dammmm, and the only amps that i had that gave off that good clean power was the orion beast, and the earthquake 2020...hahah.. OH, and lets not for get PPI (precision power) ..LOL
@@theone148 MMATS was among them in 1995. Not widely distributed. Also HiFonics Colossus, USAMPS. There were a number of them but definitely rare. Big batteries, diode isolation (later, starter solenoids) 1/0 wire and HO Alternators were BIG bucks back then. Not many shops would even do it - let alone do it correctly.

I wish the jp bass knob would hook up to my soundqubed amp. Love the look of it.
Using an amp like this could simplify your installation and make it appear cleaner. What if you already had a good factory 'stereo' but wanted to improve it? You could run the factory units low level outputs to this amp and power 2 or 4 subs. That's enough for anything less than a competition setup. A real winner here. Even the bass remote has heat sinks!

Components is always king in the car audio industry immaculate components matched designed with esthetic appeal and a great sound.
Just get 4 amplifiers so you have more adjustability. Higher resolution of option is always the best and that's always pro.

This is one of the best amps on the market man JP this guy gone crazy amp overload TRULY AMAZING A shout out to the classic US Amps old school forever
Its ugly, it's not even 70 percent efficient at 2 ohms. It isn't stable at 1ohms, it has capxon chinese caps in it not to mention you probably need 3 alternators and a huge lithium bank to power the 700+ amps it takes. I am not sure what its best at? maybe taking money from your wallet.

You act like $800 is a lot of money, thus you must know nothing about the SQ market and how silly your statement comparing this to Skar is. The person who buys this spends $1k on each of their neo subs as is and probably 5-10x that just glassing in the front dash, doors, and kicks. It makes no sense unless you're building something that's purely a toy because how much current it draws and how much more (3-4x more) you'll need just for the sub stage alone for them to be balanced.

For your last comment about power and speakers, in my VW Touareg i had a set of CDT audio component in each doors, each driven by a Boston acoustics 600wrms amp (don't remember model name, gtsomething)
I exploded the cross over before i failed the component kit. Bought 4 new heavy duty crossover from cdt, i blew 2 of them again. Speakers are still fine.
Had the same kit (but only 2 components) in my tacoma, hooked up to a kicker sx900.4 bridged. They survived 4 years of 325w. So i guess i found the limit. I miss those days of car audio, still have all my kit from my touareg, the 4 gtsomething amps and 1 gt2300 for the subs.

Very impressive 👏 i would love to see the Orion HCCA 3000.4 and the 4000.4 tested if you can find them seen a 4000.4 for sale a cpl weeks ago so there still out there but both still on a dyno test wish list

Same, would like to see how Orion’s 4000.4 class H stacks up, it’s been out for years and not many even come close to its sound quality and power, and it’s rated at 12.6v
For the money that want for any of those Orion HCCA amps that are a million inches long, you can get a smaller D4S JP454 that will spank both of those for $650.00.

Another excellent review. I replaced my Sony home audio equipment for a 7 channel bose system, it was aging for sure but honestly I like the way it sounded more. The bose has too much bass if there's such a thing.

Love this amp. DB DRIVE also makes a 4k.4 @ 1 ohm per channel that is a full range.

No they don't, DB Drive also lies about ratings and rely on "peak" numbers as a selling point.
Most haven't tried the A7 series Db Drive amps. The only good ones they have.
I miss class ab amps from back in the day so I just keep watching this wondering how it would sound bridged on two xv3 18s. 🧐

LTO wants to be 15.4-15.8, I had it around 15.1 which lost a lot of capacity. I was trying to show around 14V results instead of 14.5
