We all sell ourselves short by saying you cant be friends with the opposite sex. Yes you can and you can have good platonic relationships with them! But there should never be secrets and your partner needs to know ahead of time and be able to voice their opinion if you and opposite gender friends are going to hang out without your spouse there too. Imo tho you should never go and hang out at someones house alone with just the two of you. Not that anything would happen but it just looks bad. Being in public or in a group setting is different. Never put yourself in an awkward situation if you can help it!

yes you should avoid opposite sex friends especially if you are married already, males always have an ulterior motives to their female friends...
