At one point in the original Naruto series they had you believing that the Byakugan was equal to or just as powerful as the Sharingan. They needed add onto the Byakugan, adding individual abilities for the eye like the Sharingan.
They need to show more characters like her in action. Hyugas have an interesting fighting style.
It's called the Gentle Fist; it's a exclusive fighting style for them where they use mostly their palms to do internal damage rather than physical assault. Plus especially with the Byakugan, it's damn near impossible to counter in close range combat

the otsutsuki clan seem to use the gentle fist a lot so if they're planning on using more of them we probably will get to see more of it. not to mention Boruto is a practitioner of the gentle fist too and he is the main character so we'll likely see a lot of it.

Boruto (the show) really shines when it focuses on showcasing taijutsu. It’s nice that this series scales back on the theatrics and goes back to what made the original Naruto series so captivating.

I like that Hanabi saves the rotation until she needs it. No unnecessary movements.
She was toying with him until he got serious. Then he was about to land some real attacks on her with his clones, and she had to do the rotation to block it.
@@Amaroq64 I think she was still taking it easy on him even on the second try. Remember Kakashi was surprised by Sasuke’s combat abilities during the bell test, however when Kakashi decided to up the ante, he was more surprised than Hanabi, he still didn’t use his full strength or anywhere close to it when he put sasuke down.

@Dylan Ogega I hope you're not legit mad bro. Would be embarrassing if you are. Now if you're talking about when obito didn't dodge minato's kunai, that was because he chose to just phase though it. Can't remember anything about Jugo. Dunno anything about unnamed ninjas who "presumably" been hit in the face by kunai either. If you're gonna use that as evidence then I need something more an assumption. Anyway, my point was that anyone recognized as a ninja is at bare minimum capable of dodging a kunai being thrown at their face. I don't even remember anyone in the series being hit by a thrown kunai. Their reaction speed has been trained to the point that a thrown kunai is just too slow and obvious to hit them in the face. I'm not sure why that upsets you so much.

Always loved seeing the Hyugas in action ever since the original Naruto. Their fighting style is always so badass and interesting to witness. An insane defense that can also be one amazing offense. Too bad they don't get enough shine.

Boruto has a very interesting way if using clones.
Naruto used them to fight in a team or as a distraction, or even a set up for the harem jutsu while Boruto uses them like objects. He throws or flings them like projectiles, uses them to bounce around kunais or to jump off of as a means of moving towards the target from arial positions.

@@TifeingTemma depends. A hyuga can't differenciate between a shadow clone and the real deal since the chakra flow is identical. That's why neji had a tiny disadvantage fighting against naruto in the exams.

At the beginning, the byakugan, such as the sharingan, was a powerful and feared feature, one that made people hesitate to attack the person. Now, it's at the level of a random character from a filler, it's sad :-/

I love these comments comparing Naruto to Boruto. Let's not try to play that we forgot Naruto was a genin when he mastered the shadow clones, and Boruto here is an academy student. Not to mention, Boruto doesn't have the Nine-tails hax chakra that Naruto relied on over and over to buy him enough time, wear down the opponent, and come up with a strategy. Boruto uses his clones more fluidly and comes up with sequences that are so natural to him that they're almost subtle enough to miss.
What? Naruto was an Academy Student when he mastered the shadow clones. Him mastering the multi-shadow clone jutsu is what led Iruka to graduate him to genin after he originally failed to graduate because he couldn't successfully use the standard clone jutsu.

One thing I've realized with all of these fights where the young up coming student is sparring with the older confident fighter, even if it's not an actual victory, if the student ends up forcing their opponent to stop going easy on them and use their actual techniques, then the Student won. They proved they were a capable fighter. 1:55 is where Boruto won the match.

I miss Neji!!😭😭😭 By far One of the best characters in Naruto hands down...Honestly when it come to technique and personality, I like Neji more than Naruto, Neji have this aura around him just like Sasuke, like I'm a badass aura, especially when they were still Genins, Naruto was kind of annoying and loud when they were still Genins...But there wouldn't be a Neji if there's no Naruto ryt.. haha
Boruto is actually very skilled... like a blend between kid sasuke and kid naruto... showed in this sequence

Every Byakugan user has that blind spot right behind their head (they can see about 350 degrees around them, other 10 they don’t, it’s explained in original series, mostly during fight between Neji and Kidomaru). It’s just that Hanabi didn’t unveil that.

Coming back to this video, I hope we see what will happen to Hanabi and Hiashi Hyuga in the time skip. Knowing what will happen with Kawaki and the upcoming battle with Code, the Hyuga clan's fate is what has me curious.

Still, he forced her to use that move. Thats not bad really. A nice series of attacks that lead into more attacks that setup even more attacks. Constant changes of angle of attack direction and style. Not bad for a genin.

Naruto was 17 in shippuden, its 15 years (the last was 2 years, and boruto ages to 12) till boruto chunin exams.
This is 4 years before, so naruto should be 28, and hanabi is 5 years younger than hinata going off hiashi.
Hanabi should be 22/23.
Naruto was around 19 in the Last and by the time Boruto was born he would be 20 or 21. In ep 12 or 13 Naruto said that it had been 10 years since the war so 21+10 would make him a estimated 31 and the beginning of the anime. Hinata should be the same age as Naruto and Hanabi 5 years younger so 31-5 would be 26, but by now Genin Boruto era they would all be 1-2 yrs older

Surprised no one thought to take advantage of the Byakugan's blind spot. It's a small blind spot located above the first thoracic vertebrae.
I would say 99% don't know that. Huga's themselves probably don't know that. Neji himself figured it out by accident
