Welldone Bhai Saab, Mein Mukesh Kataria from village Gurugram aapki gypsy dekhkar mujhe bhi bahut man hua tha gypsy lene ka. Lekin company ne toh isko 2018 mein hi band kar diya tha aisa showroom valon ne bataya. Finally maine 2012 model army auction gypsy li hai ladakh se. Original white colour mein hi thi army mein bhi. Superb performance

Sirji, to conversion of Disch break in front excel of Gypsy king is suitable or not ? Or any other option for smooth breaking system of Gypsy?
Vehicle's may come and vehicle's may go Gypsy will stay for generations to follow Its Invincible....And the people who own it are the once who are logical by default. As you rightly said Gypsy sets a benchmark too on a 4x4 format.
With the freewheel hubs installed its milage goes around 12kmpl to16kmpl as per driving conditions.
So Gypsy apni jaan hai chahay koi kitna bhi pareshan hai.

My gypsy 2018 model gives 15.4 kmpl on highways with front free hub locks..trip from Pathankot to Dehradun @ avg speeds of 80 kmph

Sir is there any side effects if we put free wheel hub.
I use free wheel hubs on my 18 model gypsy and trust me no problems at all, the only care you need to take is keep them properly oiled and at times switch them on 4x4 mode to avoid any jamming, but trust me it will give an avg of 13-14 in city and around 16-17 on highway

Am having very strange issues with the fuel tank of my gypsy..mine is 2018 may manufactured model..5 months back my fuel tank start leaking ..I replaced it with the original new tank from maruti. Yesterday it started leaking again from the same place where last time the leakage happened.. it's a small hairline crack on the left side of tank..please let me know if anyone has faced same issue ..one more thing ..vaccum is created in my tank when fuel is low and when i open the fuel cap fuel tank makes a sound with gas release

Saw ur video..my both tanks leaked from the same place as yours..🤣🤣🤣..I think it's due to vaccum created in the tank..which fuel to buy ???? As I have cleared all fuel lines from air pressure.
Before you start test your km done was 12119. After you reach your destinatiin km done goes up to 12358. That means you ride 139 kms and you spend 21 litres which means 6kms per litre. Am i right bro???
Km difference is 239 divide by 21 kmpl is 11.38

1. Until mid 90s, MG410 used to come along with original Japanese make AISIN Free Wheel Hubs.
2. Due to lack of knowledge about its functionality, majority of its users spoiled the vehicle. And surprisingly, around 1996, there was a huge uproar about its poor mileage (which actually is not) and this led Maruti Suzuki to permanently omit supplying the Gypsy along with Free Wheel Hubs in its next update MG410W in 1996.
3. Good thing is that, original Japanese AISIN hubs are still available in new (very expensive). If not, Indian make LAMDA hubs are good to go (very affordable).

@@GYPSYlifesolo As I asked at my nearest rto so they said that gypsy has to do fitness every year because it is 7+1 seater for eg:-Innova 8 seater is also mandatory have pass fitness every year if it is in private no. If fitness hasn't done so we are not able to claim insurance also🙄

Dear Suresh, I am from Eastern part of the country. I had a gypsy in the year 1998 till 2001. I had to sell it with broken heart only for cash crunch. Now, I am 68+. I had been abroad and had a Toyota. Since I have come back to my native place, I keep desire to own a Gypsy till my lifetime. agar aapki gadi me tyre 215 hai to aapki gadi ka meter reading actual k. m. se kam dikhayega is hisaab se aapki gypsy ka milage 11.3 se jyada hai kyoki aapki gadi ka meter gypsy k original tyre k hisaab se hai

Tyre width 205 215 or 235 does not change the meter reading. Meter reading changes if the radius is changed. Meaning if your wheel size of 15 inch is changed to 16 inch or f the tyre wall size of 70 is changed to 75.
