I'd like to see one of these kinds of stories where the family or friends treat the MC "subpar skill" as "We'll figure out the nuche for your ability, even if i also have to split time with these more prestigious abilities".
Let them still get a lot of friction from society at large or weird rivals, but not immediately exiled/disowned.
It's always especially weird when the skill in question is a complete unknown. Immediately disowning somebody because it wasn't a known powerful skill seems like a really stupid way to miss out on a rare and powerful capability.
It's kind of irresponsible to immediately disown someone just because they have a skill no one has heard of. Like they don't bother to look into or examine the skill they think. "Screw it he's useless, exile time!"
Then the MC comes out to be superpowerful then the family is like "No I don't believe it!"
I don't know, it just seems that basic research is a foreign concept to these people

This is a side effect of the culture in question. I will admit that, despite being a fan since the 1980s, I never fully understood a lot of the cultural reasoning for a lot of things until I spent 12yrs of my life between Korea and Japan.
I came away with a great deal more understanding for quite a lot of tropes that I initially simply took as tropes.
It's especially dumb when all this goes down at a really young age. Some, the skill ceremony is at like 10yo, in others, around 15th year, but they're still children regardless who haven't had a chance to figure anything out. And triply stupid when such skills are bestowed by a deity, and everyone knows it.

Reminds me of Reincarnated Heavy Knight. These fools always thing a class is useless due to it not being able to "quickly gain power", in the case of heavy knight, his class was the most powerful, but it took time to build, like how wine tastes better the longer it's kept. His dad banished him and took in his childhood friend who had high combat prowess. Her attitude changed and started looking down on the guy. Dude basically overpowered his female childhood friend with ease after a while. Same lesson with this one
I mean, it wasn't a matter of time/better with age in there; it was that there was a specific overpowered build you could build as a heavy knight, that required getting ahold of a specific rare and expensive skill book in order to get access to skills outside the class. If he'd not just lucked into the local black market having that specific book, he'd still be stuck on the weaker end of the power scaling. And more importantly, that build isn't something people know about, since they're not approaching their lives like a video game and don't have complete knowledge of the options, so it's reasonable for them to assume that the historical results of heavy knights are representative of the class's capabilities. Still trash to throw him out over it though :P

I think the major difference between that one and this piece of crap is that here the MC can show a huge amount of power straight away, making it even more unreasonable. Meanwhile in heavy knight no one has ever managed to be useful as a heavy knight, and only through a lot of knowledge and obscure interactions it becomes good.

Heavy Knight at least has the excuse that literally everyone in the world is running suboptimal builds because the correct skill books and proper equipment are fucking expensive. Our humble protag literally dumps MILLIONS into just starting his build.... and it doesn't help that the ideal build for Heavy Knight is counterintuitive being a burst DPS lightning bruiser with a requirement to be below half health anytime he wants to start smacking something rather than a defensive mighty glacier with nearly impenetrable armor.
Even his primary party member gets shades of it since she's a gimmick class spec'ed for luck with unreliable damage. Once he helps guide her build, they start rocketing up in terms of cash and high quality gear (17 million in gold for a drop isn't a freaking miss, clown girl)
What bothers me just now is the idea that a lot of stories are “one shot wonders” because the author’s reached the limit of the story being told. Without further inspiration the story cannot continue.
Is this one discontinued? I could find 2 parts past this that were clearly leading up to an obvious conclusion of where this was headed so I can't imagine them running out of material at that specific point. But the translation is dated from December.

That's probably one case of blunder if you unlocked an oddball hero in an RPG with relatively subpar skills with a very OP passive.
They are overshadowed by strong early game heroes but they outshine them if they get some levels.
Three minutes in and this one looks to be one of those that are hard to swallow. Grew up a noble, received tons of training, got what we all know to be a broken skill, kicked out and immediately meets the princess(!?). There's no conflict to overcome! Even if he was kicked out, he's literally playing with cheat codes, so he's basically just going on an unscheduled vacation trip.

Ngl the only thing i found dumb in the story is how everyone thinks they can pick a fight with the main character despite knowing the guy was trained since birth by the so called strongest person arround. What i dont understand is, why the hell are all these MCs hiding their damn skills?
Like 80% of their problems would be solved if they came out with what they could do.
Sometimes there is a reason to do so. But what better showcase of strength is there by saying.
"Hey, heres exactly what I can do. I legitimately do not care what disadvantage this may get me. Im kicking your ass."
Cultural quirk of the writer's origin. Being different is bad - even if the way you're different makes you immensely better than those around you... _especially_ if it makes you better than your "betters."
Because lazy writing. If you want to make your character overpowered, it takes a huge amount of effort as a writer to keep the plot going without your character just one shooting all his issues away (One-punch does this masterfully)
So the only thing you can do if you don't know how to do it or cannot be bothered is by nerfing your character by giving them brain damage. There would literally be no plot if the guy just showed his full power. Hell, he can probably take the kingdom's throne for himself just by beating the entire kingdom's royal guard and usurping the throne. Who's even going to stop him?
That's generally the issue with wish fulfilment stories like this one. They make an op but stupid character, let conflict build up, and then force the MC to act. repeat ad infinitum. If they had the MC start weak, but then slowly become powerful (Like any half decent story), then it would make more sense, but it also requires good writing and the authors are just not good at writing.

Ok, 4 minutes in, and I am loving this setup. He was abandoned by his father and family, sure, but the illegitimate princess angle gives him established diplomatic sway ìn the least troublesome way. It also adds depth to the character as it shows that there are those who genuinely care for him.
