As of today the 7/31/2024 1.05 patch, i went from 52k hp to 31K hp, nothing changed in the build, Overwhelming HP only converts BASE shields to HP, it's probably bugged with the new patch, also tried to do valby run again and my valby was stuck in the slide skill forever till i had to suicide, and it seems like all the missions are spawning only 10 mobs now, this patch is a mess isnt it ? haha, i hope all of you are doing great soldiers Edit: looks like the build got bugged out with overwhelming hp and the devs " fixed it " but the defense is completely inconsistent and i keep bouncing from 25 to 45 k im not sure what is going on
Thats really annoying, because i invested so much time in my Ult Ajax and now it is destroyed… Today i wanted to add my last catalyst and now i dont know what i should do.
All the low power new players get picked up by Ajax. It was just Bunny was free and early. I have been picking up Valby, Viessa and Ult Lepic thinking somehow being Ult Lepic meant you could have a crap build and go into Hard Dead Bride.

In some games in the past , we always had the !don't do multiplayer with that crap gear" kinda attitude . I also , am an Ajax main because he is a freaking badass tank a REAL tank . Something you may want to revise about this video is how Body Enhancement (at present) does not properly reflect what your DEF is when in Albion. You have to be out in a field-zone to get a proper reflection of your DEF
This build can be done on normal ajax but i don't recommend spending the ressources on him The shield mods increase your maximum hp because of overwhelming HP and body enhancement synergy Both amplification control and skill expansion are flex slots, use whatever suits you the most
umm so Overwhelming Hp mod that you show off at time stamp 2:09... without a catalyst slot .. fully maxed out .. is only a 6?? shouldn't that be like 16??? or did everyone jus look over that in this video?? please explain that one to the class ..because I would love to know how that works..
@@ringozpain Some mods decrease in cost when you upgrade them, since overwhelming hp and the same with shield and def, are fixed % they don't get an increase with rank ups, hence the reduction in cost per level
Tank looks better & better each time I watch it! Are the bosses you showed in the video on hard mode? And does it work with all of them aka reflect everything? Furthermore, in Mobbing circumstances (again in hard mode) even against fortress section enemies, can you tank the damage and blast them away? Because exploding enemies especially poison ones sometimes one shot me .. And how fast does your Mana come back to repeat the process? Would prestiging Ajax increase his def hp etc..? Finally, when you place the barrier, do bosses and standard enemies automatically aggro you and leave your teammates alone? Sorry for all the questions but I'm very interested in this build!
Everything showcased here is in hard mode, against fortress enemies you can afk and never die usually, if they are shooting at you you can just put up your barrier and they will blast themselves to death, as for mana with the max MP module its super comfortable to manage, ultimate ajax only increases defense by a very small margin Placing down barrier does not aggro/taunt enemies sadly, team coordination is required so they stay next to you behind your walls to reflect the damage, but usually in public people run around everywhere and die to colossus instead of staying safe around you

@@RealTLEHD Grinding ultimate ajax is tough, unlike bunny lepic and what not all of his parts are 6% drop rate instead of 10/20%, it took me 18 hours non stop to get his stabilizers and ran it 82 times , let alone the 3 other parts, i wish you a good luck soldier

Hmm question i know you said both amplification control and skill expansion are flex spots. But what do you think about if you fit Hp collector on to even make him more self sustaining, or do you feel like you find health on the ground enough not to need it?
As a new player I was looking for a tank af descendant Now I'm pointing to Ajax Ultimate. I was holding the door with normal Lepic bc the pasive avoiding death and restoring half hp with modifiers.
Fellow ajax wall i see! My standard ajax is currently sitting at 56k hp and around 60k'ish def, and i'm still trying to optimize my gear :) I'm hoping Kyle is gonna get a ultimate form after Valby, so i can try out a max shield build
With just dimension master and the focus on dimension skills maxed and some hp you can solo hard devourer under a minute, i myself got dozens and dozens of body enhancement mods from him, you can do it soldier, otherwise you can not use it and go for something else, just keep in mind void barrier/ life barrier / void charge are all bugged at the moment and not functionning
My Ajax isn't anywhere near this guy's (only 12k hp and 100k defense) and I can't kill hard devourer that quick. However, I can tell you that I can solo it, and was able to get the mod in only 3 attempts. I've been farming hard mode colossi and the drop rate for descendent modules is pretty high.
If you look at the modules on the Handgun you''ll notice that its' sole purpose is to stack Max Rounds Capacity. The strat is to switch to Handgun, collect ammo, then switch to LMG.
I was curious on your choice not to go with Mental Focus in your Enduring Legacy. Even if you don't use Magazine increases, it's still an average firearm ATK gain of 57.5% - granted you do lose the 10% Fire Rate, so your overall gain diminishes, but I believe it's still a benefit. You could swap out Insight Focus and only lose 14.5% rate and 6.5% CHD. I feel like that swap would be worth the overall damage gain, no?
@@jadanar5971 the purple weakpoint mod is a flat 20% overall damage increase to weakpoints, mental focus is too situational and not firing for a second ruins the build up, if you get cc'd by a king fisher for example, plus i'd have to be at 60 bullets minimum to compensate for the lost dps then it starts ramping up again, not my type of gameplay but its amazing for characters like gley
I dunno how bunny's die, its so easy to play, and thats not even my main. On a side note, ive seen far too many bunny players shooting guns rather than running nonstop. If you want to shoot guns, you play gley.
Why do you run dimension instead of tech? It doesn't look like the skills scale off a modifier maybe this was changed with a patch but just curious if there's something that doesn't show in mods menu
@@schonfeld5158 yeah but the skills screen doesn't show any modifier/multiplier so wouldn't skill power be better since it scales off Defense and skill power and shows it's not multiplied by a modifier so no clue just curious if there could potentially be a better mod
So, as a fellow Ajax main, i have a question, you have increased shield? coz putting overwhelming HP on your build makes the shield to 1, so i'm just a bit confused
You increase shield as much as you can so “Overwhelming HP” can convert more of that shield into health. That’s where the additional health comes from when using that mod - from the amount of shield you have before it’s decreased to 1.
Not my favorite weapon so i didn't dedicate much time to showcasing it fully, it was just a plus since this is in ajax build i have : Fire arm atk 12.2% / Fire arm critical hit rate 14.3% / Fire arm critical hit damage 40% / Bonus fire arm against colossus 3375
Overwhelming HP seems bugged. The amount never goes up beyond 14.2% HP when I upgrade it. I check and my HP stays the same when I upgrade, so not just a bug in the text. Anyone else Have this issue?
I tried iron will and the other defense increase module, you get an extra 50k or so shields but in all honesty you are tanky enough like this, as i said in my post above there are 2 flex slots you could use for whatever suits you better
Question.....my build is almost the same is there a reason why every time i load into a map i have a full health bar then poof a big chunk of it vanishes?
How does this work against the later bosses? Swamp Walker shreds my current normal Ajax health and id rather know if id be investing all these catalysts for the same outcome lol
How is a character that can tank hard mode content not viable? A build that abuses his reflection damage while maximizing his health is one of the best builds in the game as it turns Ajax into a tank DPS which is arguably the best archetype in any game. Sure he isn’t an AOE farmer but that title belongs to a handful of other TFD characters. But hey, if they end up buffing him, I won’t complain lol. This is all my opinion anyway, I’m curious to hear why you don’t think he’s viable

How tanky is the build on 4 player hard mode bosses. There is only gameplay for single player bosses which is still impressive but bosses hit much harder in coop content. Could you post some 4 player hard mode bosses? This build looks very cool i just want to see it in action before i invest everything
I can face tank anything like in the video in 4 man group, the only boss that you cant face tank as easily is the molten fortress if you stay in the magma pillars
You're welcome, you can make the reflect damage even higher if you use a set component that increases your skill power but those never come in full hp so you will be less tanky, a trade off that you could try out

Try this Defense master and you but it on another gun if you kill with this gun you get 128% defense for 10 sec and cooldwon 25 sec after upgrade 15 sec
You could most likely build this on the normal Ajax but I'd say it's a waste to put so many resources when the ult starts with more polarized slots and a small increase to shields and defense. Plus ult ajax looks badass
@@gokuwszoku8733 what the reactor? If so then absolutely I have a purple reactor that's non attribute and dimension with the substats being non attribute and tech which covers all the grounds. If your looking for an ultimate reactor one can be farmed right now at fortress defense line and the mission is called explosive debris on hard mode.
@@gokuwszoku8733 absolutely boss it's all based on your preference of what you want to do. There are melee ones such as shock punch, shortsword, claw, kick, and tonfa or there are also mobility ones that can also increase your mod cap if you upgrade them such as long distance maneuvering or the one I'm currently using which is called mid-air maneuvering. That being said if you like the grapple hook as is then I'd say just go with shock punch as it's easily available and won't change your gameplay flow at all

Yea I think that mod sucks. You're better off finding other mods. He used 14 points with overwhelming HP and shield increase which probably got him to maybe 10k shield on the high high end which converts like 1400 HP. Imo not worth the 14 points
Good Build , i just wonder Why using Dimension Perk to boost Dimension Dmg knowing your Dimension SKill are 2 Shield Skill who dont scale on Dimension skill Power .... The only Skill who scale on Skill power is the 2 and 3 and those are Tech ..... I feel it will be better to Switch Those by first Iron will who give you +% def when your shield is Down , and shield is Perma Down and Second Walk a Tightrope who give Skill Power % and Firearm ATK % when your HP is below 50 % .... Knowing you have a Big pull of HP and Shield to Tempo Below 50 % you can have a Boost of dmg skill and Weapon really interesting

This is also what I want to know, in game nothing scales the Shield Damage at all, and only HP and Def scale the absorb, could it be a hidden modifier? Also Ajax has some really high Skill Mod numbers so presumably Skill Damage would be way better...something odd going on for sure
I think I can confirm hidden scaling of some kind, or at least its not open in how it scales. trying a variant of the build vs my normal one, the reflect damage was nearly doubled. Since the reflect is Non-Att Dimensional damage it must be gaining modified damage from those ratios in your character stat sheet.
@fudfudfud I haven't yet had a chance to do real testing, but I suspect that Skill Modifier is what does the scaling since the ability does not mention any kind of skill power. So the incoming damage is multiplied by the ratios and skill modifiers found on the full character stat sheet.

I've come to realize that a lot of these builds by youtubers are disingenuous. The builds are against normal colossus and crystallizations are wasted. Are the colossus in your videos against hard bosses?
Body enhancement is not necessary, just swap it out for something else or nothing, but make sure to remove overwhelming hp as well and swap that one too

Ultimate Ajax got nothing going on for him besides some extra defensive, and maybe the life barrier mod

@@ringozpain upgrading overwhelming HP only reduced the cost. There's no other benefits to upgrading it. No increased perk. Just reduces the cost

Can you explain while using your build that my health bar is depleted at the start of everything that I do. Im never at full health
It's a bug that needs to be fixed , gotta either use the drone to heal you to full HP at the safe zones when starting or kill mobs to get full hp

I tried iron will and the other defense increase module, you get an extra 50k or so shields but in all honesty you are tanky enough like this, as i said in my post above there are 2 flex slots you could use for whatever suits you better
Just want to say I was able to solo hard deverour with this still. 20k hp, 62k DEF, 36.3k with tamer 15.5k skill power with full annihilation set

Question.....my build is almost the same is there a reason why every time i load into a map i have a full health bar then poof a big chunk of it vanishes?

How does this work against the later bosses? Swamp Walker shreds my current normal Ajax health and id rather know if id be investing all these catalysts for the same outcome lol

I love Ajax and wish he was viable but we all know he isn’t and won’t be unless he is reworked or mechanics change.
How is a character that can tank hard mode content not viable? A build that abuses his reflection damage while maximizing his health is one of the best builds in the game as it turns Ajax into a tank DPS which is arguably the best archetype in any game. Sure he isn’t an AOE farmer but that title belongs to a handful of other TFD characters. But hey, if they end up buffing him, I won’t complain lol. This is all my opinion anyway, I’m curious to hear why you don’t think he’s viable

How tanky is the build on 4 player hard mode bosses. There is only gameplay for single player bosses which is still impressive but bosses hit much harder in coop content. Could you post some 4 player hard mode bosses? This build looks very cool i just want to see it in action before i invest everything
I can face tank anything like in the video in 4 man group, the only boss that you cant face tank as easily is the molten fortress if you stay in the magma pillars

You're welcome, you can make the reflect damage even higher if you use a set component that increases your skill power but those never come in full hp so you will be less tanky, a trade off that you could try out
Take the Dimension skill power modifiers off and replace with a purple Focus on Non attribute skill power mod just 1

Its cuz of the crystallization catalyst being used on the sub module increased it from 10 to 15 adding an extra 5 to mod capacity

It increases the reflect damage on the first barrier by a ton, if you don't care about reflect you could always slot in different things of course

You could most likely build this on the normal Ajax but I'd say it's a waste to put so many resources when the ult starts with more polarized slots and a small increase to shields and defense. Plus ult ajax looks badass

@@gokuwszoku8733 what the reactor? If so then absolutely I have a purple reactor that's non attribute and dimension with the substats being non attribute and tech which covers all the grounds. If your looking for an ultimate reactor one can be farmed right now at fortress defense line and the mission is called explosive debris on hard mode.

@@gokuwszoku8733 absolutely boss it's all based on your preference of what you want to do. There are melee ones such as shock punch, shortsword, claw, kick, and tonfa or there are also mobility ones that can also increase your mod cap if you upgrade them such as long distance maneuvering or the one I'm currently using which is called mid-air maneuvering. That being said if you like the grapple hook as is then I'd say just go with shock punch as it's easily available and won't change your gameplay flow at all

Yea I think that mod sucks. You're better off finding other mods. He used 14 points with overwhelming HP and shield increase which probably got him to maybe 10k shield on the high high end which converts like 1400 HP. Imo not worth the 14 points
I go from 37k to 49k hp with overwhelming hp with this setup
On console there must be a bug because max hp is 18.7

Why using Dimension Perk to boost Dimension Dmg knowing your Dimension SKill are 2 Shield Skill who dont scale on Dimension skill Power .... The only Skill who scale on Skill power is the 2 and 3 and those are Tech .....
I feel it will be better to Switch Those by first Iron will who give you +% def when your shield is Down , and shield is Perma Down and Second Walk a Tightrope who give Skill Power % and Firearm ATK % when your HP is below 50 % .... Knowing you have a Big pull of HP and Shield to Tempo Below 50 % you can have a Boost of dmg skill and Weapon really interesting

This is also what I want to know, in game nothing scales the Shield Damage at all, and only HP and Def scale the absorb, could it be a hidden modifier? Also Ajax has some really high Skill Mod numbers so presumably Skill Damage would be way better...something odd going on for sure
I think I can confirm hidden scaling of some kind, or at least its not open in how it scales. trying a variant of the build vs my normal one, the reflect damage was nearly doubled. Since the reflect is Non-Att Dimensional damage it must be gaining modified damage from those ratios in your character stat sheet.

@fudfudfud I haven't yet had a chance to do real testing, but I suspect that Skill Modifier is what does the scaling since the ability does not mention any kind of skill power. So the incoming damage is multiplied by the ratios and skill modifiers found on the full character stat sheet.
Dimension Master and Dimension Specialist mods give you nothing. Skill Power at all is not part of Q and Z skills formulas.

I've come to realize that a lot of these builds by youtubers are disingenuous. The builds are against normal colossus and crystallizations are wasted. Are the colossus in your videos against hard bosses?

I actually made an Ajax build with 80k def 25k health & 25k shields
I might as well give up now. I cant even get to devourer on hard so this build is basically useless to me which sucks cause it looks amazing
Body enhancement is not necessary, just swap it out for something else or nothing, but make sure to remove overwhelming hp as well and swap that one too
