I've always liked the villain songs from these movies. Unleash the Magic, We will Stand for Everfree and Welcome to The Show all sound fantastic! than again~ MLP has some great villain songs in general.
I'm really glad to see someone else who enjoyed this movie as much as I do- most people don't seem to like it very much for some reason? I really loved it though! I think it's my favorite out of the EQG movies!

Which would be completely anticlimactic. Cinch is a weak villain and a Twilight Sparkle as normal student is boring for the audience, even for the adult ones. She wouldn't be able to add anything to the plot, if she possesses no magic.
I never understand that whole "school rivalry" thing that always happens in American media. It just plays into that whole "us against them" mentality. I hate the whole tribalism thing, where people put themselves into groups, and have this whole "we're better than you" thing going on. Focusing on the division between people, like "we're this team, you're that team" or "we're from this place and you're from that place", whether it be religion, race, sex, or any other such label, this just creates separateness, which leads to hate and conflict. From what I've seen/heard, this seems to be even worse in America, with people even splitting into smaller groups within schools, such as jocks, cheerleaders, popular girls, nerds, geeks, etc. I'm more for everyone being one.
Competition is meant to be positive, a means of uplifting one another in the pursuit of excellence, a friendly mutual challenge to improve and/or perform at one's best, though it doesn't always work out that way.
It may not make much sense but it would've been cool for Sunset or StarLight to be the element of redemption I know theres Trixie, but those girls are main characters at this point

Now I have an idea: Midnight beats Daydream and corrupts the other Human 5. So we would have the Evil Human 6. Fuck all these kids. We're make a 16+ movie with the Evil Human 6 conquering the Human world and using the gems to secure there power. That could be a movie: Princess Twilight coming through the portal and finding the unconscious Sunset, while the others are conquering territory.
I know that its been like a year since this video been out but you keep saying who could be the villain. Could be the principle or the twilight. But It was kinda obvious the principle is the villain and Twilight the victim not the villain at all. Not evil. She did nothing evil in the movie. The magic control Twilight not twilight controlling the magic. Victim. She would not have used the device if it weren't for the principle. She weren't have been there if it weren't for the principle. And the movie kinda told you who was the villain and who was the victim in the principle's room at Twilight's school.
