Comme toute jeune harpiste, j'ai commencé mon apprentissage sur une harpe celtique. A l'âge de treize ans, je suis passée sur la grande harpe et j'ai donc vendu ma petite à une jeune fille qui commençait la musique. Aujourd'hui, cette jeune fille passe à son tour sur la grande harpe, et ce fut donc l'occasion pour moi de récupérer mon premier instrument.
Malgré son âge (presque onze ans), je suis contente de voir que ma harpe a gardé un bon son, et de retrouver mes sensations de petite fille ^^

A harp is so difficult to "tune" but a lovely romantic song played delightfully by a young talented musician. Very much enjoyed and you are a delight to watch and listen to. Is the harp hard to play?? I've AL WAYS wanted to play it...
+Gina Kim Playing isnt that hard, since one string is one note (not like the guitar), but playing good (playing soft, just that it sounds good and not that "hard") is difficult. Just try it out, there is probably a music school near, that offers teachers and you often also can "rent" a harp.
You can do both techniques. Im playing without nails, but with my finger tips. I think that most Irish people play with their nails, because their songs are played faster, but i am not sure.*****
So... the strings are like c , d, e, f, g, a, b, c,?
yes you are right but they arent always like this. There are claps on top of the Strings (not at every harp, but on this one u can see it. If u want to be in C-Dur u need to "uprise" the "E A and B strings" so they bekome e a and b strings. Tecnically you uprise the note about one half with the claps (hope u undestand it, im german). You probably will find a better explanation about this. You can also read about pedal Harp, there u can controll it with your foot and not with your hands. Not sure if u already know it, the red strings are always C and the blue ones are always F.Gina Kim
