Great video. Quick question while I find new company to service... I have a faulty external siren (tamper triggering). Is this the best way to disable the siren as an input so system stops false triggering? Or is it omit inputs I want? Thanks
Hi.. do you know how I can disable WiFi access from the Pyronix unit. I want to remove the router and dont require cloud access anymore, I de-registered that anyway. I have set Use-App and Poll Cloud to zero and deleted my cloud password and app password. I am still getting Coms failures though.. Regards Anthony
Hi, this is easily done by setting the device as OMITTABLE when programming it in. You can then choose to OMIT this device from a keypad or easily in the app.
Thanks for the legua video, I thinks it’s the only video explaining in detail of Pyronix enforcer. I feel proud was able to do a simple task of changing battery without having tamper alarm going off. I have one question I use Duracell cr2 battery it lasted 2 years, is there any other company battery lasts more than 2 yrs by your experience?
Hello, any advice gratefully received. I tried changing the battery in a pir unit of my enforcer System. I now have a 485 comms lost error code on the keypad. Do I need to press the learn key again so the led goes from blue to green? Thanks.
@@rooster7779 Sorry, i missed the reply here! Sometimes a dead battery can cause a device to have a comms error. Usually re-learning the device will fix this.
@@ElectricalInnovations That's happening to mine too. Any way to stop the beeping in the meantime? I can't sleep through the night as it's going off every 20 minutes or so.
Did you get this sorted out? I've got the same issue with the alarm setting off randomly. I've changed the batteries in the room sensors, but that hasn't fixed it. The manager menu doesn't have the options to change inputs like the videos all show. Any idea how to just disable all the devices? Thanks
legally speaking the engineer has no right to withold an engineers code, a couple of years down the road they could break in to your property and use it to rob you.just ask the engineer for it he will give it to you
You are right, but generally in the industry that's not what you find happens. Legally, an engineer can't be forced to give out. code. They would have to reset the panel to a default code. It's certainly not how we work. If a customer wants their code from us then we give it to them. It's well within the right of your alarm engineer to withhold an engineer code as terms of a service agreement or warranty. This will protect them You can't access a set system with an engineers code. Also, the user menus often have an engineer lock out option, so no engineer will get any access at all without the user first activating their engineers access.
great for those of us in remote places, language barriers or cant trust installers. This is the 3rd system I have installed with thanks to these guys
Great 👍
Thanks for the help, great instructions
Thank you!
Very helpful thank you.
Glad it was helpful

Im in the same position - what did you do in the end ?
What would happen if I try to put in the default engineers code and it's not correct?

how do you disable/enable a device within a zone that has been created? Eg I have 5 sensors on Zone D and I want to disable a device on that zone

How do you change the battery in the wireless device.
Put the system in Engineers mode then you can change batteries. Once new battery is fitted you can exit engineers mode and you are good to go

Hi there. My alarm keeps going off on it’s own while we are at home. Any idea why?
Hi, sorry I missed this reply. A good service will sort this out. It may be a battery going dead and losing communication with the panel.
