Fantastic stuff Sir! Seeing a "N' on freight duties is weird after all the years pulling passenger services....a bit like someone bringing their odd loco to your layout and asking to run it ...LOL. Great noise and some very nice shots as well ! Cheers Gregg.
Generally the weight moved by rail is far more efficient than road so even long heavy trains are still highly efficient. The usa runs some massive trains and lots of them, here in Australia it's alot more limited at this stage.
Nice video. Part of the line between Geelong and Ballarat got concrete sleepers for the first time when they went through and replaced some. Does this make a noticeable difference as a driver?
Good lights on that thing. Really enjoy these videos, thanks for posting.

Cheers greg! Got more on its way. 🤟

Great clips, good set of lights. Cheers.
Once again great work. Thanks for posting.
Maaaate, great video mate!
Cheers from New Zealand!
Sounded damn good from lineside as you climbed Warrenheip!
That's what makes EMD locos so damn special.
Awesome footage dude, thanks 👍👍
Hi Adam, great video enjoyed every minute, stay safe, cheers Lee.
Good thing N463 was leading, the infamous Broadmeadows Runaway loco! Glad she'll likely go on to a long career with freight trains.
Still caries her battle scars well.
@@mickmackbxt4630 are those marks on the side from the accident?
The damage is most visible inside the cab an d as ripples on the back of the toilet from the outside.
great scenery
thanks for sharing
Awesome Video Aussie Train driver keep up the great work
Have you watched - A seriously "oh crap" moment : Australian Railways by Rod Williams (RIP) . . . (Amazing it stayed on the rails)
Sure have, seen them all.. Even seen my fair share of crazy stuff..
227 likes in 13 hours. The power of EMDs and well shot interesting video.
ARTC needs to trim the trees back.
This time ARTC is not to blame, try V/Line
At 3:00, that loco just pushed its way through the points. Is that standard practice? If so, only unpowered points I'm guessing.
Yes they are trailable, designed to do this.
1:40 i recognise that bridge. wish id been able to catch ya rolling thru town
Well be back!
Magic! 👍
Great stuff
4 N class locomotives hauling a train. Wow
Two N's, an S and a B.
No airhorn for level crossings? Very naughty! My opinion.
Did notice that, but in defence they had boom gates operating which, at the same time not idiot proof
Night time. Kindly respectful for locals unlike some cowboys.
Awesome again. (I just watched a video in the US of 26 locomotives pulling 700 cars = 10km long. When does this become ridiculous?)

Lucky man, is it a hard seat to get mate?

Yes it does, the issue seems to be more it's left and forgotten most of the time, like the western SG
❤❤❤
NOOICE!!! Haven't been this early in months!!! (: Watchin' before bed 🛏😅
Seems as though all but a few stations remain open.
Used primarily for freight these days?
Pass trains only run as far as Maryborough anything further up is freight only or heritage tours.
😎👍
How do the Ns compare to driving other classes? Well maintained?
Reasonably smooth, And very quiet!
@@AUSSIETRAINDRIVER Would be nice if they didn't creak so much at low speeds.....
