I thought I'd do a version that keeps the driving rhythm of the PS1 soundtrack, because the official Piano Collections arrangement does its own thing, and it would be nice to have both options.
Absolutely PHENOMENAL. I don't know how I missed this piece in the past, I must have been too focused on your incredible FFX compilation to notice you sneaked this in at the time. FFVII is my favorite game of all time, and you absolutely destroyed this in the best way possible. Thank you for your dedication to this series and all of your hard work! I love everything you do!
I love how you say “not piano collections” on the title. But also, thank you. I was just saying in one of my Twitter that everyone is so obsessed with piano collections so much that the OST gets no love. (I love PC too, but cmon)

Had to rewrite this comment from scratch, I can't say it well enough but I'm AMAZED by the amount of control you have upon every single note.
I won't even talk about the sheer technical difficult of the melodies per se, but the very intimate dynamics, the different volume and impact/softness behind each note and the way this translates to one melody flowing naturally or jumping with impact into the subsequent is out of this world.
I wish I knew English better to convey this, amazing job and thank you for sharing your work.
Any chance we will listen to your arrangement of Liberi Fatali? After listening to your version of OWA I can't think of a better piece to follow up!

I can think of three possible reasons, or all of them in combination.
1. I remember doing quite a few finger independence exercises when I was younger (Behringer and Cooke, mainly, not so much Hanon)
2. I've done a few Bach fugues and got really into it, i.e. memorising each voice independently to begin with, then playing every combination of two voices, so that when you combine them all you have maximum control over each strand
3. I've been mainly practising on my electric keyboard for years. The light and super-sensitive keys mean that you have to work extra hard to make voicings clear. I like to think that this has at least been beneficial in some ways, as well as harmful in others, when making the transition to a real grand piano.
For what it's worth, I've seen all of your comments, and if you hadn't mentioned it I would have assumed that English was a first language for you.
I was about to attempt to express my joy and pleasure after listening to this arrangement, and I was sharpening my (awful) english in that perspective, but you did it with an unparalleled accuracy! Thanks, sir, you english is rigorously perfect.

Nice arrangement of OWA. On the topic of the piano collection's I'd wish they had arranged "Besaid Island" on the piano collection to be more faithful to the original.

Comfortably use tenths in my arrangements, can stretch elevenths for a laugh but not practical.
