Japanese Disney Parks are far and beyond any other park.
Tokyo Disneyland is ok. Basically just a slightly better copy-paste of the one in California. DisneySea on the other hand was the best and most immersive Disney park I've ever been to while still keeping the classic Disney charm.
Yeah I agree with the other person, Disneyland Tokyo is okay, the parades are better in my opinion, but everything else is mostly the same, people are a bit more respectful, but lines are long no matter if it’s a weekend or weekday due to lots of school trips. Prices are significantly lower so that’s a plus and merch is better too. Also, lol every time I’ve been fireworks are cancelled due to the gentlest breeze (I’ve gone 2 to 4 times per year for the last 8 years when I take my annual trip to japan, I’ve also gone every season too). Disney sea is pretty good overall, but currently they’re in renovation season so at least 1/3 to 1/4 of the rides are closed there was also no real harbor show or parade, they only have one boat that comes out with Mickey and the crew and they do a little dance and song, but a let down compared to what I’ve seen in the past. Also, king tritons theater has been shutdown for like 3 years, that was one of my favorites with a live action Ariel that would fly over the audience while also singing some of the iconic songs like part of your world. Also they had zero night shows along with Disneyland Tokyo as of a week ago. Don’t get me wrong, I typically do enjoy Disney Tokyo, but I’m trying to set some realistic expectations. Disney World I’d say is a top contender with Disney Tokyo though for the value Tokyo is pretty top tier .
Tokyo DisneySea really is the jewel in the crown of all of the Disney parks
Think about it California almost had that was going to be built around the queen Mary but either the city said no or Disney either way Disney sea is so amazing trying to take a Tokyo trip hopefully it’s after this is done and open Tokyo more affordable than Disney world
That's because Disney doesn't own Tokyo Disney. The oriental land company spends like they have no budget.
Tokyo is just rubbing it in our faces now
The snuggling duckling looks so beautiful. Inside I'm shocked and excited 😀
This just makes me want to take a trip to japan even more. Theme parks are a whole other level over there.
Totally go..it will change your life 💖
I honestly think this would be a almost perfect addition to Magic Kingdom, it has has the magic that everyone wants to come for an expansion there.
oh my goodness! they really turned frozen into a land!
about a year ago, my fiancée ended up passing away, but her ABSOLUTE FAVORITE THING was to sit down and watch all sorts of frozen stuff all the time. it really brings a tear to my eye to see all the thousands of people who will get to experience this magical place for years and decades to come. its just a shame it was so close to coming out she didn't get to see it, because i know she would've loved what you all have done here to bring all of this to life
I’m sorry to hear of your loss.
I’m so sorry for your loss
Very sorry to hear this. Yeah, we have worked for many years on this and really poured a lot of passion into it. I hope you get a chance to visit, and remember your fiancee.
I pray that your soul may rest in peace. Your partner seems to have a great hobby.Sorry if it's weird because I'm using translation.
First of all, I know you guys probably won't see this, or even respond, but to the folks at WDI, ASTOUNDING work. The details and level of immersion and storytelling are unlike anything we've seen yet. Big props to you guys. Second, I'm 15, and it has been my life's goal to work for WDI and I hopefully will in the near future, so here's to hoping. Third, as an avid Parks historian, I noticed the similarities in Neverland to opening day Disneyland's Chicken of the Sea pirate ship and skull rock. Obviously I was not around back in '55 but for some reason it still gives me a sense of nostalgia. Anyways, again, Great job. (Also, if you are reading this, call me, I've got some ideas that'll knock your socks off ;)
Thank you! Keep dreaming big!
@@robc1985 Honor to hear from you sir! I'm a huge fan of your attractions! Midway Mania was and always will be one of my favorites.
Sure, of course we read these comments! They make more of a difference than you know.
@@PatGirvin Thank you so much for responding. It means a lot. 🙂
If only the parks in the United States were allowed to do this, this is what Walt would have wanted plussing. Not repurposing rides into different themes, not tearing down buildings to make smaller versions of those buildings which go away from the messaging that Walt was trying to convey (Epcot) at least the original theme park version of Epcot had some of Walt’s intentions. Now future world is gone, because corporate boards or the money people only want money. So they charge for fast passes, up prices on everything, and don’t let the Imagineers live up to their full potential. The park in the video above clearly lets the Imagineers use their imaginations to design new things.
Yeah, limitless money tends to make people more creative.
Tokyo's parks are operated by a Japanese company on a license from Disney, so are not directly owned or operated by the Disney company. This gives the other company (Oriental Land Co) more say in both budgeting for new additions (often giving Imagineering much larger budgets to work with), and management decisions (not falling into the same pitfalls as the US parks currently are)
@@A_A610 yeah, that’s awesome. It’s just a shame that the U.S. Disney park management won’t send more funds that way.
@@A_A610but unlike Disney, OLC has to pay for all that licensing. Imagine if a company owned all these IPs, and had their own imagineers, the possibilities would be endless! …but that wouldn’t look good to shareholders, investing so much money on things that won’t give an instant return. I just don’t understand how OLC is able to do all this, after paying Disney, AND keeping prices low.
@out5894 it doesn't have to be. The absence of money can and should make the creative juices move faster. Take the Haunted Mansion: paint an animatronic white and angle it in front of a sheet of glass, Boom! You've got a ghost.
Or Soarin': tinker with an old erector set, and you've got a state of the art ride system thats now being copied all over the country.
Japan truly has the best Disney parks and they hit it out of the park again
That Frozen ice castle is something else! Really beautiful!
I know someone w/ WDI whom has worked on this project for the past few years. Its amazing what Oriental Land Co. has been able to do w/ DisneySea and now this land. What id give for that love to be shared with the US parks.
This was Walt Disney really wanted.
I’ve been to every Disney in the world. This one is by far my favorite. I would go back in a heartbeat.
I can’t wait for the Tinkerbell ride!🤩🤩🤩🤩
The Oriental Land Company is actually putting love into their attractions. This is what Disney SHOULD be doing!
They're working together.
Japanese Disney Parks: We got more and more awesome expansions!
US Disney Parks: We got budget cut again!
These almost look like magical lost ruins, which I'll be sure to enjoy exploring someday!
wow what the imagineers can do with actual funds and support
Wow! WDI, you must be so proud! Amazing work!
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. Congrats to everyone who worked on this & everyone who will get to set eyes on it in person! I hope to see it one day as well. Truly pinnacle of design
So, SO excited for this! The Imagineers have tastefully integrated IP into an IP-less park and I cannot wait to experience it in June! I aspire to be a part of this in the future. Congrats to the entire team!
Bravo, Tokyo Imagineers for making the dreams of Disney fans a reality. You are the last beacon of inspiration & creativity left in the Walt Disney Company. Thank goodness for OLC!
Tokyo Disneyland & DisneySea: “Imagineers are an invaluable asset and make our fantasy a reality.”
Disney Parks US: “Let’s downsize Imagineering & get rid of anything we can’t charge an extra up charge for, while barely keeping our existing rides operable for half an operating day.”
Imagine if the WDC actually cared about the American Parks like the Oriental Land Company cares about their park. Blows everything we have out of the water. Not even a competition
WOW Everything so magical and wonderland at TokyoDisney look so fun it is most wonderful thing ever see mine tire life. It's Beautiful
This looks fantastic. We all can't wait to visit! 😁
This is great! Great job WDI. Would be great if Disney parks in the America allowed you to do work like this.
Yes, that would be great!
This is fantastic. Well done, Japan!
Absolutely stunning!
The American theme parks need this so badly
IKYFL!!! This looks just like the movies! So incredible! 💛
Seeing all theee lands brought to life... it is absolutely amazing. Especially Tangled. Man, what I would give for a chance to go to Disney Tokyosea. One day I hope to imagine such lands like this. You all did an absolutely brilliant job.
I Can’t wait to go there
Wonderful job WDI Team!
Thank you!
Wow!!!! This is absolutely incredible! I'd love to go to Tokyo Disneyland!! They treat their parks right!
Went to Disney Seas for the first time last month. Truly one of the best theme parks in the world.
Looks amazing!
素晴らしい楽しみ!!
This looks amazing. Love the Peter Pan ship. The Imagineers are always thinking great ideas. 😍
Tokyo DisneySea stays winning
This is so beautiful. I wish all parks where this pretty
Nice work. Way better than anything from the US parks in a long time.
Wish the Tangled Tower was larger - that is the only thing that looks a bit off.
It is difficult. In Japan, when building a tall building, there is an obligation to attach a red lamp to the top of the building. Oriental Land doesn't want to add that, so it can't be helped. Also, that Rapunzel tower faces the direction of the attraction, and if the tower is too big, it's weird for the people sitting on the ride.
im 16 and this video is nice to look at
no one cares

Beautiful and Breathtaking
The OLC on opening day: ‘we spared no expense’
That explains the music.
Wow, I wish the US parks could have something nice like this. Instead we get the most popular attraction shut down, gutted, and replaced with screens, fewer animatronics, and a Rainforest Cafe theme. Not to mention a redesigned main character for no reason.
blame bob iger and the greedy excuses that were made that stopped the creativity and ideas from the past version of disney
Oh my Galaxy this is so beautiful The Peter Pans Neverland is just like it is in the movie
Wow Tokyo Disney!
That could be the most magical disney ad i've seen since the 90s
Wow, Fantasy Springs looks absolutely enchanting! 😍✨ Can't wait to immerse myself in the Frozen Kingdom, explore Rapunzel's Forest, and soar through Peter Pan's Never Land! Tokyo DisneySea never fails to amaze with its creativity and attention to detail. Counting down the days until June 6th for the grand opening! 🎉
This is what happens when a Jeff Vahle isn’t in the way 🙈💁🏻♂️
Yes! He is super cheap
@@Cello20247 they say a lot of WDW projects die on Jeff’s desk 😔
Amen.
While these lands aren’t necessarily for me / not the target audience, I can still appreciate the incredible detail & theming represented that is now so characteristic of OLC. Keen to see their Space Mtn replacement!!!
I'm going to be in japan in late May. I really hope they at least do a soft opening before the grand opening.
aaaa can't wait to be here, see u in november 🤩
Going to Disneysea in January '25. Can't wait but a little worried whether we'll be able to enjoy this part of the park with the increased level of pricing, the crowds etc etc.
Here after seeing the abysmal Splash re-do in WDW... What a wasted opportunity. Imagine what OLC could've achieved in half the time. They spend where it counts--on creative, their Imagineers go above and beyond, and the result is TRUE Disney, with all the magic, excitement and incredible detail that the other parks are sorely lacking.
WOW. Subarachi-desu!
I can’t wait to see the hotel! The theming from the exterior looks so fantastic. All of the US Disney hotels have been so sterilized and stripped of theming.
Quite a lot of Disneyland Paris in this design. Great.
The modern equivalent to fantasyland meets World Showcase
If Disney want to compete with Universal in Orlando these are the types of attractions Disneyworld needs
The pirate ship and Skull.Rock are back!
So beautiful 😱😍🤩 I am really looking forward coming back to seeing this in person 💖•●•
Pretty amazing.
US Disney parks left in the dust
Wow!
I will do it. I will actually leave my country for the first time and go there once this is built.
とっても楽しみ
See that looks original and cool. How come Florida doesn’t get this love?
This brought tears to my eyes! The timeless tales come to life! ❤
Wow, DisneySea really is the best park.
Omg I'm going to be there in May, so sad I'll miss the opening of Fantasy Springs. Will there be a sneak peek or soft launch a few weeks before the grans opening?
I want to go!
Looks fine.
Can we see the rides???
so cool
this is what happens when you don't listen to your shareholders who only care about making a quick buck and just let the Disney Imagineers do their job
The most disney park isnt owned totally by Disney? Also amazing job. Took 10 years, from a carpark to a new land
Good job ! Why you don't have the same land at Disneyland Paris !
Budget, and exclusivity
Finally Captain Hooks ship and Skull Rock are back. Too bad its in Tokyo
Going in 3 years
The ending music sounds like a Kingdom Hearts theme hahaha
They put the best stuff overseas
#DisneyDiva ❤
I know MK is already big but there’s no harm in making it bigger to add these lands into it!!
This is In Japan?
They brought back Skull Rock and the pirate ship!
Epic fantasyland
LESSE GO
are there any rides? like is this just for eating and ig pics ..
もちろん有ります。

Asian side of imagineers are still making magic happen top notch constantly and listening to the fans too a well done beautiful new giant land for the whole world to adore forever...❤❤❤❤ ✨✨✨✨. This whole new land can built behind fantasy land for another beautiful magical expansion.. but it will never happen. Only seeing destruction of fires constantly!!
Same Imagineers who design parks around the world!
Omg it’s is beautiful and is going on be pack on opening day. Probably would visit it in 2025 when the hype has died down.
This is amazing! I am considering becoming an imagineer for my career. Does anyone have any tips? I am not in high school yet so I have time.
Imagineering truly still has it in them to follow the design principles and values it pioneered years ago. I truly believe it’s the corporate budget cuts and mandates that give us mediocre products like Avengers Campus in the states. It’s highly disappointing how much of a difference the output is.
Whoever is running the Asia Disney theme parks need to come to the American Disney parks ASAP!!!!!
I was going to cry if I saw Pixie Hollow. Seems like it would have bene a perfect fit.
Trots op mijn zoon, die daaraan drie jaar met vele anderen, heeft mogen werken 🎉
Can't we get something like this in the U.S.
I helped to paint castle walls and roofing and other props for the Frozen attraction back when I worked at Nassal
WOW. Absolutely incredible and what is more frustrating is WDI has the ability to do this, but when Epcot gets a new area, it takes 5 years to put in a statue of Walt and some planters and seating that looks like it came out of a business park courtyard. If only the US parks would give WDI the budget that OLC does.
I can see it now for 1:47! A Riku cosplayer would stand in that area, while a Sora cosplays shouts why he sided with the Heartless.
