Fight a custom single battle in MP, save the battle, record, get good angles, edit, profit. At least that's how I would do it if I had a good PC.

@@YoshikageRusso For good angles, I'd recommend to watch some movies with similar kind of battles, you can have a look there and brainstorm from their, use the movies as inspiration for shots.

I love that ever since it was composed and released with Dawn of War 2, Khaine's Wrath has become almost of a theme song for the Eldar and Asur in any battle they're involved in.
Now THIS is how a battle should be. It was perfectly balanced, extremely well paced and the tension in the arrival of the second chaos army, when everything seens to be over and well was brilliant. Well done!
well..... balanced? I love the quality of the fimmaking and the visuals (I mean the precisely selected scenes) but in the perspective of a total war siege this battle was very very imbalanced. It was fun to watch, but staged so that the elves would definitely win by a lot a little toooooo much to be taken seriously. No hate though, it was an epic fairy tale "The good gouys win the day" battle and there´s nothing wrong with that.
Very nice of the chaos though, to not ever attack the dragons, so that they had a chance to prevail throughout the battle, or to not attack the archers with the winged units, in order to not disturb the scienic volleys of arrows xP
@@matteslambertus7684 You are right, it was still far from realistc but comparing to other battles wich are just one sided massacres, random close fighting without showing the overviews, context and etc, this one was much better.

i think this is my favorite video of yours so far. getting a lot of the top-down views really helped with the strategic feel of the battle (if that makes sense?). plus the two waves of chaos was pretty rad

I loved this video! but it would have been pretty cool if Chaos attacked with a third wave and almost came out victorious but then when all hope is lost Alarielle the Everqueen shows up with her wood elves allies Durthu and Orion and attack them from behind and help the remaining forces of Ulthuan to win.

The only reason they were able to get as far as they did was because the Asur were gathering to meet them in front of one of their glorious cities. The forces of Chaos thrust themselves againstthe steel of the Asur time and time again but they never broke and made the forces of Chaos pay for every drop of Asur blood spilled. The scream of arrows, small and large alike, split the air with the roar of dragon's fire. The winds of magic screamed as they were called upon the field at the behest of great daemons and skilled magicians of the Asur alike. Armor rent, blades broke, arrows shattered, dragons roared in pain and fury, the demons in frustration, and the Asur kept their dignity even in battle. The Asur stared in the very face of fear incarnate and did not flinch. For all the power boasted of the demons it was soon realized that while the demons and their hosts were formidable they were matched by the united might of the Asur.
Ah, at the end of the battle the fields were watered with the blood of both Elf, corrupted man, and beasts. The sun shone on the armor of the fallen leaving a somber yet bright field. That field would be forever hence known as the Shining Grounds.

Great. The elves have yet to use phoenix guard. With the support of archers on high, elite infantry at the bottom along with dragons, the defense force is too strong. Chaos only has melee infantry and the number is not much. So they lostt :))) Can you make video about Khorne vs Tzeench ?
He also made sure to refresh elves army from first fight, its staged lol

What I wish they would do, and hopefully they'll do it in a future update, is corruption of the landscape. As the Chaos host marches and more blood is spilled, you SEE more and more how the surroundings are being corrupted in real time by the Chaos Daemons.

Chaos will always exist, just in very tiny numbers. So will the rats, and all the other bad creatures.
Dude look up the matched combat by Xiphos mod it would be perfect for videos like this, it can be used along side the more animations mod.
A defense of athel loren would be really epic pls do that and keep with the good contenent

Sometime down the road, do an epic video between the High Elves VS Dark Elves. No sieges or stuff like that - just a clean, ole'-fashioned field battle. Have these lords on each side, Tyrion/Alarielle/Alith Anar VS Malekith/Morathi/Malus Darkblade, with all of the best units and most monsters per side possible.

Why were the High Elves fighting outside the walls - and why were not the war machines not mounted upon the walls? Also - no moat or ditch in front of the walls.

Don't take this too harshly, as it's mostly great, but there's far too many moving camera shots.
You have a lot going on, on screen. The panning isn't smooth so it becomes quite jarring. I also think maybe only pan when you have a lot to show? So maybe not close up shots.
Other than that, very cool, just found it difficult to watch.

High elves loved the the battle but the thought that every elf that dies means less and less elves... well lore wise. The race will soon be extinct with fights like this. Loved the video

The only reason to ever put melee in front of. Wall is if the enemy only has ranged so that they do not climb the wall and shoot down.... sincerely the #1 pvp shogun 2 player all time...
