- Ivan Demidov (#91 blue) picked up 3 goals on 6 shots, 2 pims, +2, 20:59 TOI, 2:54 PP TOI. Wow what a gam Ivan Demidov who now has 19 goals, 40 points in 48 games, with 39 points in 37 games where he plays at least 9:14 TOI. He is now 1 goal away from Kirill Kaprizov's record who had 20 in 49 games and 2 points away as Kaprizov had 42 points.

He’s so insanely good. Demidov - Hutson will control the ice like we haven’t had in decades in Montreal
Yeah... and he'll be on the 2nd line with Patrick Laine, future is good for the habs
He's always moving in the offensive zone, never stands still. He's going to be so fun to watch, I can't wait for him to make his NHL debut!
He’s good at sneaking himself into open ice and a scoring position. Caufield has that same kind of ability to evade coverage. Can’t wait to see him in a Habs jersey.
Wow!! So impressive.. at 4:45 he just barely missed that breakaway too.. could have had 4 goals. Ahahah, can’t wait for next year. Elite player.. so lucky that he was still there at 5 in the draft
Montreal Franchise Player is coming.
I keep saying it but the Demidov-Hutson show is going to be epic.
4:43 So impressive, taking a breakaway and coming back in front of the net like this.
Made the defender blow a tire as well, wheeew that was slick.
What also impresses me is getting into a little scrum. Not afraid of the older guys. Love to see it
so he needs 1 goal and 1 assist next game to match Kaprizov's 42 in 49 games (incredibly impressive considering he has had so much less ice time)
We all can't wait for this kid
Habs go to almost last place last years to 3 point from playoff with the second youngest team of the ligue... With a lot of young player in Europe on junior with high potential patience is the key
Imagine he didn't rot on the bench for no reason for a bench of games
He has 39 points in 37 games where he gets at least 9:14 TOI. In 11 games where he's had under 9:14 he has 1 point. Before SKA lost their top scorer to injury, his PP TOI dropped to :29 per game and out of his 19 goals this year, 0 were on the PP. He's also never played a second of 5 on 3 PP this year. With that in mind he could easily be leading the KHL in points for someone that turned 19 last month.
@@harryhood1919 Do you know how many of his assists have been on the PP? I haven't been able to find anywhere that shows power play points (just goals). I can't imagine it's more than 1 or 2.
Dissent matter since Hughes dropped off a briefcase of money he has been played
The KHL site doesn't have it, just PPG/SHG, GWG (he has 2). I would say it's likely under 5 since he only recently started getting a ton of PP time.
His shot is underrated, he would easily score 50+ goals in the CHL.
Well the Habs got themselves a 1st overall caliber guy at 5th...i think Demidov would have similar stats to Celebrini last year if he played in the NCAA, maybe better stats. Celebrini and Demidov very very close in term of talent
Michkov:41pts -48game TOI 17m12sec PP? Demidov:40pts-48game TOI 12m;32sec and 10G-6A=11last game
i was on the michkov bandwagon at the beginning of the season. But having seen more of demidov throughout the year, i will confidently say that IVAN will be far superior than michkov
@@arihia45 Let's just hope that Reinbacher hits as well, because if he does look out league, thats a ton of studs under 27 years old. We'd be at Chicago levels in the late 00's early 10's, and they messed that up with a rfa debacle that cost them Byfuglien and others. Sorry for the totally unrelated tangent.
@@DiedonSunday 100%
and way better overall
@@arihia45i agree demidov looks a more complete player but michkov offensive instincts for me are still better. Demidov is like kaprizov and they might not be pure offensive machines like ovechkin for example but in terms of playing a complete game they are superior
Not bad 😉
If I had to describe Demidov he has ups and downs but full of superstar potential.
He is a bit risky at times no different I guess than Hutson he tends to just float sometimes doesn't like to go to the net w/o the puck but rather hang around looking for open spots very similar to Laine.
On the back check "defensive hockey" he is sadly a puck watcher tunnel vision on the puck very similar to Slafkovsky.
Offensively much stronger than we likely thought he is already quite strong on the puck protects it well something MTL badly needs good hockey IQ but sometimes takes pointless weak shots but I cannot complain too much I rather players shoot than just mess around on the perimeter "shots are a good thing".
So I am sure most people wonder why is he often benched or receives less ice time than you would expect?Well I think it is a few things he does tend to float at times his defensive game is not SMART he will back check but doesn't really understand how to do it and he is risk taker likely not something a coach wants to see in a close game.
Hat-trick
Lafleur resurrect
Demidov did not receive playing time and did not score points, because his coach is an oligarch and not a professional. In Montreal they took notice of this and sent a rescue team to Russia. Hughes brought a suitcase of money, and Lecavalier (who played in Russia during the lockout) I told the idiot coach to give Ivan playing time. And this is the result.))
У семьи Ротенбергов денег столько, что они могут купить всю франшизу Монреаль Канадиенс. Этот человек занимается тем, что ему нравится. Но он бы не стал позориться из-за миллиона долларов.

@@renatbest78g69 lol he put that lil cap on him like he was his father. ivan stood still like his life depended on it ahaha
@@renatbest78g69 the family is worth 3.5 billions so technically you are right but the Montreal Canadiens are still worth 3 billions, it was clearly a coaching decision by Rotenberg benching Demidov so he earns his TOI, he was also getting used to the speed of the KHL and learning to be more responsible defensively (getting benched after mistakes) earlier in the year now he has unleashed him for his offensive side.
I don't think its the best coaching method but it does look like its working.
@Blue-bv1ur 3,5 it is the cash. All money 6,2.
bro why are you putting extra content? there's like 6 minutes between goal 2 and 3. I just want the goals
Because his videos are based on the full game of the player, not only goals + assists + highlights real….

@ bro i clicked for goals. Okay why not crazy plays even tho it's not goal but i don't want extra.
@@PingoupTV the goals and top plays are bookmarked
Is 1 goals 2 points a Russian Hatrick?
he got 3 goal chek the vid cuh
The « 1 goal 2 point » means that he is 1 goal away of beating the khl record for a player under 20 and 2 points away of beating the khl record for a player under 20
Think before commenting
Why is this video over 10 mins long? 90% of it is trash. Do UA-camrs get bonus points for posting longer, garbage videos? Titled Ivan Demidov Hat Trick! posts 9 mins of russian commentary on garbage play...lmao
Scoring in an empty net for the hat trick instead of passing to a teammate? I hope Rotenberg saw this appalling demonstration of selfishness. Such lack of respect for your comrades merits a good benching - 5min game incoming.
I almost fully agree with you! It's insane. But I don't think they should bench him. What he did is unacceptable and should terminate his contract right away! May he go to the other side of the world for all I care!
nah i think he did the right play, because it looked like it was more safe to shoot at the empty net than trying to pass to his teamate (like if he tried the pass, it might have failed)
He'll never come over...Putin will send him to the front line😅
@@Nai911 he was jokin...(i think lol)
@ oh i get it now lol im so tired
Playing against guys who'll never make NHL. I'll take a guy like Easton Cowan, he of the 63 game point streak in the OHL playing against top competition.
@@sandyanthony9434 Is it a serious comment or a trolling attempt?
@@jflessard9850are you saying easton cowan has the edge on demidov?! please respect yourself and delete this as i will come back in 3 years lol
Ohl is not top competition. Khl is 2nd/3rd best league in the world with tons of pro player who could or played in the nhl in the past.
@@luvdvno Common, Demidov is playing in a man league. Easton Cowan is playing in the OHL. Demidov is gonna be a very good player in the NHL. I don't have to delete my comment.

Come on we are far from NHL goalers…
