this makes me so nostalgic for when it was 2008 and i would watch my mum play the layton games and slowly over the years began to play them alone. God this whole series is so gorgeous and means so much to me ,,,i love it,,,,, i really hope we get a new game ,, id love to see flora and fendi again (bar the ending in the anime) 😔✌
@@echoblackkatva that's great😊 but just keep in mind that this game is almost nothing like other layton games. In other layton games, the plot is very out there (and usually has a plot hole or 2 to be honest) but it has a big overall story to it. This game is more of a case by case game, so it isnt focused that much on a story. Because it is so different in that way, a lot of layton fans didnt like it very much, but as a stand-alone game, it is very nice. Just keep that in mind if you want to play another game in the series;)
@@amiami5673 But that's what I love about the original 6 games to be honest. The out there plots always suprised me. In most games you can somewhat predict the story, but in Layton games (those with the professor at least) the plot always has a few 180 turns that you won't expect. Yeah sure, there are plot holes, but nothing is perfect. Aside from that, every game that features a gigantic robot of doom at the end is a great game xD
Looking at the comments, I'm glad I'm not the only one who liked this game. Granted, it has heavy flaws - I will be the first to admit that point - and yet I still loved this game despite that. Seeing these fun, animated characters interact in their day-to-day lives was super awesome and Earnest reminds me a lot of me when I was a young lad, so I can't help but root for the guy (and the trio as a whole are excellent friends, even if there was nothing else to them). I'm glad that Level 5 put a personal message in for those who really liked this game and made it clear that Katrielle's adventures would not end, implying that this game will not get the same treatment that Apollo Justice got.
I was so freaking bad today and this song probably saved me. It makes me feel calm and capable. I’m glad you made much a long loop of it so I don’t have to keep restarting it ^-^
This game could have been a masterpiece if the cases all somehow connected. I was expecting that in the end and was pretty disappointed that the "millionaire's conspiracy" really just referred to the last case instead of the game as a whole :(
Macaroni Gamer ua-cam.com/channels/QTrjfgtCcugpx9J7pqi4-A.html this channel has almost all the episodes subbed, and the channel Picarats does streams every Saturday, though not subbed. the anime is really good! (maybe even better than the game lol)
Plot twist: they mean jumping off the roof of Level-5's studio building during a board meeting, so they can parachute past the window holding a sign telling them to make Lady Layton into a trilogy. The stunt pulled off would rally Prof Layton fans around the world to agree, and Level-5 eventually would give in to the demands and make a sequel and threequel. ...But that's probably in some alternate timeline or something stupid like that.
It makes so sad to hear that many people hated this game. Everyone has their own preferences, but I personally loved it. Katrielle was a fun protagonist, and Ernest is one of my favourites. The multiple case structure was very different from traditional Layton, but I enjoyed nonetheless. I hope they make more games with Katrielle. Maybe her solving mysteries alongside the professor, that would be amazing.
And the ending of the game, Oh, Man! Was it just me who Enjoyed the plot twist in case 12? I hated the game at first, But from case 3, I was truly experiencing the world created by Level-5. And, If you can get to it, The Final Artwork! Needless to say, I love this game with all my heart and passion. If any of you can get this game, or you have an Old copy crammed in the back of your 3DS Games, Play it now. I played the Deluxe Edition, and enjoyed every second of it. Well, Every second past case 2. What I’m trying to say is this: *Buy the game.* You will not be disappointed.
Katrielle was a VERY worthy successor to the Layton protag title, if you ask me. I know a lot of people wanted Luke, but let's be real, Kat is just such a wonderfully-designed character. Ernest was... not a very good companion, imo, even considering his involvement in the ending. I had a feeling he was going to have something special going on when it became clear his entire character was just a simp for Kat. Sherl on the other hand, better not leave the series anytime soon. That savage little fucker is a constant source of the best quips and roasts in the entire game and easily earned the most laughs from me. Even a couple of his awful dog puns made me chuckle. I guess people don't like that an unprecedentedly unique character like Professor Layton was replaced with what is essentially a British Nancy Drew. I think it worked well enough, but Hershel's a hard act to follow.
I love this music so much, It makes me wish I still owned a violin so I could practice playing it.
Kaitlyn Buck have you the partiture? I have the violin and i love this song

This is actually my first Professor Layton game. Have to say. So far it does not disappoint. 😍 Ernest is just a doll though so extra points. 😂

@@amiami5673 Thanks! I'm currently on Goddess of the Thames. Case 9, it's going a little slow, but I like the idea of the scavenger hunt.
True shed a tear going back through time when i was looking for the golden apple. Man wish they would bring back flora and emmy

The perfect music to start a good morning
Just like Katrielle in the game 🤯
Why do I feel sad now?
That's a nice loop you made there! It's tricky but you made it feel right, and I appreciate that.
dont know why but my history with the layton game is so vast that this make me so nostalgic and nearly cry
Same

This song is actually making me mentally dance.

Now I need a version that's only like 3 loops so it's the length of a regular song
this is without a doubt my fav music out of the entire game
I loved this music when I finished the game (which was yesterday btw) and I almost cried because of it
I agree with your username
That's a mood, also, I didn't know you play games like this, Saihara
I've been listening to this as I draw non-stop, thank you for putting this together. c:
There's an anime?? Ahhhhhh! Thats so exciting! ^^
Same when I draw .

This song makes me so happy for some reason
The music is great as always, and I hope there's a second game to explain where Layton ended up
Macaroni Gamer well an anime was released and one of the episode had some clues to where layton went ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Papa Jeanipede I need to start watching that then

Papa Jeanipede thank you again, my gent
Hell yeah! Excited to see how they reveal Layton and Luke again!
Mastefully composed and wonderfully looped OP!! Thanks so much for that, truly appreciated :)
Oh man I love this tune, such I bop
I'm gonna play this game only for this
If this game doesnt become a trilogy im jumping off a roof
This is a joke, i am not actually suicidal
I just finished today and I hope they continue for my first Layton game it was amazing

@@UltimaDoombotMK1 they did an anime so i'd be surprised
Considering its been nearly 4 years I doubt it now. The anime will probably continue though
This sounds like hope.

i really need to play this music in piano
Ah! I love this!
Alt costumes? Hints? Lore? You want it, it's yours my friend, as long as you have enough picarats.
nice loop!
thank you!!!
graceful!
Wow beautiful 😍
Why was I feeling so lost when I finished the game ? 😅
If you’re referring to Sherl, his backstory was hinted to be in a different game- i think it was miracle mask, but i’m not sure
This is just so good.
this game has it's flaws, i know, i know.
but ngl this song is awesome
I don't understand why people like the original better than Katrielle.
Maybe it's because I didn't play the first?
Plus the music
Great music !
Great song
Hiii! 👋 where did you download the instrumental version of girls? Thank you so much! 💕
Katrielle ❤❤ 2017-2019 👇
Anyone know where I can find sheet music to this?
Pretty!
That one dislike annoys me
Don Paolo dislikes this
it is now gone
Those THREE dislikes....
Remind me people have differing opinions and not everyone has to like the same things.
Sequel! Pleaseee
why it kinda sounds like party in the usa
PARTY!!!!!!! :-D
Whoa, this ost is amazing! Where can I find this game?
The anime is coming out in april, but the game with this ost has already been released! It’s layton’s mystery journey on mobile and 3ds :)
