Mine was “ outside to inside “ metal , felt , wood, fiberglass insulation , 7/16 OSB.

Heh. You beat me to it. Old school buildings in my area (70+ years old) also used 30# felt on the extrior of the building before applying wood slats/wire+stucco.
So yes that is what I do to my sheds.

I added an 'office' room to my metal shop building, so I added a loft area above. It shocked me how much cheaper, per foot, 20 foot 2x6 was than the 10 foot lumber was. So my loft ares turned out to be 20' x 20' wirh a structural wall mid support.

When you insulate with Foam or Fiberglass you can get sweating that will ruin both, but using the Asphalt board you control that affect on metal. I clamp mine from outside with 2" #10 roofing screws every 24" spaced with 2x3 studs laying flat and then add 1.5" foam ( R-11) in the 21" gaps and then I rip lengthways those cheap 20 foot 2x6 into 2x3x20 and go X ways on the build repeating the 24" but now horizontal and adding 1.5" foam again so I get layered total higher then R-28 walls that are only 3.3" thick with multiple wicking thermal breaks and no sweating. The cheap 1.5" foam you get at actual EPS foam manufacturers in your area, every state has a few. Usually 1.5" for $16 per 4x8 sheet. If you are super crazy you can go over it again with 3/4" 1x3 strips and add Home Depot 3/4 foam for R-4 more and then your just a freezer box.
We spend 2 hours in the Home Depot picking the best 40+ of 2x6 and 2x8's in 20 foot per trip for $15 and $17 each to build all our stuff with.
