Horizontal Diamagnetic Levitation Experimentation | Magnet Tricks

Horizontal diamagnetic levitation of magnetic arrays.Two supermagnete 400 kg fishing magnets as lifter magnets and a levitating 20mm x 10mm ring and 10mm x 10mm disk magnet combo. I tried it with 9V battery and with two 9V + 9V batteries without any better results. It was cool that the levitating magnet was big and still able to levitate, but spinning caused, what I intrepreted as magnetic friction so getting it spinning with electricity was challenging.

the current has to move from the center of rotation to the outer edge - could you bore a tiny hole in one side of the graphite to make the inner connection? It looked like you were just shorting across one edge, which gives a force at right angles to what you need.
