Great images! You two nailed it big time! I'm assuming that you are using the Canon R5 and possibly the 85mm 1.2 lens? Again very impressive work by both of you!
I have watched a few of your videos on shooting dancers outdoors. Yet, I have never heard you mention, that shooting with the high shutter speeds you use, HSS is a necessity when using a strobe.
@@J.Allen_Photography I know that, but you never mention it for your viewers. Someone who does noy know, may just think you can stop that kind of action outdoors with a camera and a flash only.
Nicely done! That looks like it's just at sunrise, or do I have the times and angles flipped? Either way, thanks for the great content; both informative and fun! P.S. Kudos to your model dancer Abbie as well! Great job.
How are your knees doing? 😉 I'm out of shape too lol 😁... I had a shoot with twin athletes so I was doing both solo shots and them together.... it got to the point at the end of the shoot where I almost couldn't get back up from squatting down.
The knees don’t bother me so much for these. I did actually aggravate my hip and back…maybe the sciatic nerve because I was hobbling for about two weeks! I feel you. Some sessions take their toll more than others!
Looks like a lot of fun.
It's fun watching the two of you working together, and Abies' pure joy, and entusiasm.
You’re right, her enthusiasm was so fun!
I love what You do Jason ! I love photography and I love to two artists get along to produc amazing result. Congrats
Thank you so much.
You can easily see that Abby is a talented dancer and you did a wonderful job creating interesting images.
Abby was so fun to work with!

Definitely need HSS to shoot at 1/1000 or higher with a flash.
