I don't have my image settings in front of me. However, my starting point for all my dance action shots is 1/1000s, wide open on my aperture, and lowest ISO for good exposure.
Young man is incredibly athletic I wish I was as limber when lacing my shoes.😂. My question is what is the average shutter speed used and have you every done a shoot using shutter drag while the subject is in the air?
He definitely is a tremendous athlete! I too wish I was that limber. 48 here and I feel it just running around for 10 minutes. For stopping dance action, I try to start at 1/1000s. Just poses I can go lower, but action I start at 1/1000. I’ve never tried to drag the shutter…but it’s something I’ve thought about. I should test it out! Thanks for watching and commenting!
The joy that these 10 min challenge bring me makes me just from watching makes me want to find my excitement for photography again.
These are too fun! I’m a bit too old, overweight, and out of shape to run around like this, but they are too fun not to!
You and Horus are both talented which is a perfect combination when creating beautiful images.
Thank you so much. Horus is way talented!
Felicitaciones al joven por esa destreza y al fotógrafo por tan hermosas tomas. Muchas felicidades.
Thank you!!!
Love this challenge! Please share your camera, lens and settings you use the most for these great action shots!
