ASPHALT Mountain Biking? Tennessee's Newest MTB Jump Trail Bakers Creek Preserve

- My first time checking out Bakers Creek in downtown Knoxville, TN. This trail system is extremely unique and fun. The asphalt pump and jump track was recently completed and now open for shredding. What's neat about the asphalt jump track is that it can be ridden on any bike. BMX, Dirtjumper, Mountain bike, or clunker- it'll send! We didn't get a chance to check out all of the Bakers Creek trails, but will be back soon.

I live 1mile from that place and I go there all the time but it is a big hill but to get there you can go down
The black asphalt is called a Pump Track, not jumping thing

I have a question for you about those double blacks you were riding...I'm a pretty experienced rider but not a big gap jumper (I'm 54 years old). I can ride fast and I can clear some tables...can I ride those blacks? Typically the blacks I've come across are super technical with big rock dropoffs and gnarly downhills but these trails look pretty well groomed, just super fast...can I roll those jumps if needed?
2 weeks from now the easier line barn burner will be finished with resurfacing and should be like new. It is a better place to start than devils if you aren’t used to big jumps. Same place tho and you can work up to devils.

How are the Sugura brakes working? Also the cc link?
The CC link is sick! Im really liking how it rides. I've had some trouble with the Shigura brakes. Rear started leaking some. I believe its because I used the shimano barb. I think they need the maguras. I put the magura lever back on for now
Yo Drew, I see that your still running xt 11 speed and I was wondering if I should upgrade my slx 11 to either full xt or to the new Deore m5100 (11 speed). Any advice?
I love shimano drivetrains! Truth is the SLX performs almost the same as XT. I say run it until the teeth are all gone, then throw XT on
