I've met Brendan out there at Rope Mill ;). That bar turn on the first slab of Moe's was FIRE. Headed out there for some laps tomorrow! Hope ya'll saved some dingle berries fer meh.
We've got some great trails but I wish there were some more sustained descents off the top of the big 4,000 footers. Seems like there's a lot of untapped potential up in the mountains.
I've always thought that as well. GA has come along way since I started riding 10 years ago. It may be a few years, but I think we will see some great trails come of the area you're talking about
I ride bikes.I hit jumps and drops and thought I was a good rider.I trail run a lot more and I found theses trails on a run one day and it’s the steepest shit I’ve ever seen!I can’t believe how fast and smooth you ride this stuff.Like the rock slab section on the first trail or the part where you went right and the other rider went left on the second trail. That stuff is crazy on a bike! The one that goes straight down from the summit and has the big step up at the end looks like the gnarliest one to me,according to my garmin it drops 650 ft in .6 miles.Sick stuff man
Most of the difficulty of these come from how steep they are. There aren't too many 'hard-hits' or drops, but it's plenty chunky - and steep AF. Great trails for some gnar in 'Metro Atlanta'
Brandon is quite the safety hazard isn't he? Lol jokes aside he is pretty cool, and a great judge of whip-off contests. You will have to ask him about that one as well
Pleaseeeee tell me the road y’all parked off of. I’ve got the exact bike as you (that’s what drew me to your channel). My buddy and I have to hit these trails at some point this summer.
Nice channel, I live in Buford so I’ll find my way to those trails, they look very similar to what I’m used to. If you go to Chile I can show you some trails in there, but while I live in GA, I’ll guess I’ll follow your channel to see more good trails. Add you to insta too!
@@MountianbikeG there's a couple of old trails off white water creek. Not maintained and need a lot of clearing. Sope is technically pedestrian only, i just go early when no one is there.
@@allencolby Definitely hit up pine. Its rough and blown out but also has some loamy sections. Climb is a little tough but worth it. I suggest moe's meat, creampie, and descending the climb trail.

Hey bud, are you riding a 35mm or 32mm stem? I'm considering switching from a 45mm to a 35mm on my 27.5" but am worried about losing climbing performance
I am running a 35mm stem. The reason I went with such a short stem is because I am riding a larger frame size and wanted my reach as short as possible. It does make the steering a little snappier as well.
I stopped the video a little after 4 minutes to see what I think is a Cartersville sign... I'll keep watching to see if I can figure out where this is.
Dang Rope Mill is looking primeee rn!
This isn’t ripe mill

Wow! You guys were flying down that hill!! Crazy!!

I always go to Big Creek. I didn’t know Rope Mill had steep runs like that.

i recomend the mimic power expert saddle btw. its a great saddle, very comfy on the tank
Love your vids man... haven’t been out there since some of the new lines have been cut. Anything too burly for hardtail?

Might be a lil rough in sections but you can shred it on a hardtail. Run whatcha brung!

Hey.. I'm in suwanee. New to this.. want to show a rookie the ropes?
Bro, this looks amazing. Only descents I know in GA are way north or some hidden ones near sope. Gotta figure out where this is.
Where might these hidden sope ones be?

You ridden at Lake Russell WMA? Just found the spiciest stretch of trail I've seen in GA, it rivals anything I've ever ridden in NC.
I havent! Heard good things about it. Im living in Utah these days but will have to check it out when i visit GA! Love some spicy trail
I ride at Lake Russell fairly often. Where did you find the gnar out there? I seek the gnar…
